Funeral Director Posted March 23, 2009 Report Share Posted March 23, 2009 Mr. Charles O. Turley age 66 of Hiram, Ga passed away on March 21, 2009 at Northside Hospital. Mr. Turley was born in Kennesaw, Ga on June 15, 1942 to his late parents Luther Eugene Turley and Bertha Irene Cook. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Mr. Turley was owner and operator of Turley's Tree Service. He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mr. Turley is survived by his wife of 44 ½ years Mrs. Linnie M. Turley of Hiram, Georgia; Son and Daughter in Law: Luke & Cindy Turley of Hiram, Ga; 4 Daughters and Son in Laws: Rickey & Beth Davenport of Acworth, Ga, Teresa Turley of Hiram, Ga, Brent & Annette New of Dallas, Ga and Tammie Turley of Dallas, Ga; 9 Grandchildren: Justin Stephens, Rustin Johnson, Rickey Davenport II, Dana Turley, Diane Turley, Craig Davenport, Robert Oran Turley, Farrah Erikson and Trent New; 2 Sisters: Lois Carnes of Alabama & Christine Cook of Kennesaw, Ga. He is preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be held Monday March 23, 2009 at 4pm at Rock Baptist Church with Reverend Max Padget, Reverend Harold Weatherford & Reverend Tommy Young officiating. Music will be provided by Gary & Sandy Brackett. Interment will follow the service at Liberty Hill Cemetery. Pall Bearers include: Justin Stephens, Rustin Johnson, Rickey Davenport, II, Craig Davenport, Tom Troy, Felton Turley. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday March 22, 2009 from 2pm until 9pm and on Monday from 9am until 3:30 pm when we will leave in procession to the church.
