**bgurley
COPS FOR KIDS 9TH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is gearing up for the 9th Annual Cops for Kids golf tournament . All of the proceeds are used to provide Christmas and other needs throughout the year for the less fortunate children of Paulding County. We have a shopping day in December and employees from the Paulding County Sheriff's Office take these children with a designated amount of money (depending on donations) to let them pick what they want for Christmas. This program has been successful through donations from local businesses and individuals like you. In 2008 we were able to take approximately 275 children shopping and spent approximately $41,500.00. If you are not a golfer but are interested in helping, you can sponsor a hole for $100.00 (tax deductible). This is a great opportunity for commerce members of Paulding.com. We also need contributions for door prizes and goody bags. This is an easy way for you to help contribute to a good cause and get a little advertising for your business. Last year the tournament brought in over $22,000. If you have any questions about the golf tournament, you can contact Maj. Tom Murphy or Melanie Palmer at 770-443-3015. All checks can be mailed with the attached flyer to 247 Industrial Way N., Dallas, Georgia 30132, Attention - Maj. Tom Murphy. Attached: I have included a copy of the flyer with all of the information about the tournament as well as the Cops for Kids logo for your use.
