Robin Patricia Woody, age 50, of Hiram, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2008. She was born January 24, 1958, in Atlanta, and was preceded in death by her mother, Jerry Elizabeth Hammett and a daughter, Sandra Jean Woody. Mrs. Woody worked as a caregiver in the Home Health Industry and attended Riverside Church of God.

Survivors include her husband, James Woody; father, Edgar Hammett of Morrow; sons & daughters-in-law, James Larry Woody, Jr. & wife, Christina of Acworth, Joseph Steve Woody & wife, Allie of Hiram, and Benjamin David Woody of Hiram; daughter, Amy Denise Woody of Smyrna; brothers & sisters-in-law, Daniel Thomas Hammett & wife, Brenda of Hiram, Edgar Hammett, Jr. & wife, Janice of Fayetteville, and Frankie Hammett of Atlanta; sisters & brother-in-law, Geneva Spinks of Stockbridge, Stella Young of Morrow, and Janice Gallman & husband, Jimmy of Dalton; grandson, Dalton Woody; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at 11:00am, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor Thomas Blagg officiating. Interment will follow in Peaceful Meadows Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends in their home on Monday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and all day Tuesday.

May she rest in peace. I know that she was very sick towards the end. It kinda makes me sad that she died on my birthday. But, in some ways, she's had a new birthday and now she's with God. May God grant peace to her family.
