Clark Funeral Home Posted March 31, 2008 Report Share Posted March 31, 2008 Elizabeth Fortner Poole, age 79, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2008. She was born April 4, 1928, in Marietta, GA, and was preceded in death by her father, Howard Levi Fortner. Elizabeth worked for Lockheed-Martin and she was a member of New Life Family Church in Marietta. Survivors include her husband, Tommy R. Williams of Powder Springs; mother, Pairlee Garrett of Austell; step-sons, Rex Williams & wife Ellen of Dallas, and Alan Williams & wife Lycia of Kennesaw; step-daughters, Teresa King & husband Gordon of Dallas, and Kathy Meyer of Dallas; twelve grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; niece, Deborah Arnold; nephews, Steve Post and Gary Post. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 2, 2008, from Clark Funeral Home, at 2:00pm, with Reverend James A. Muncey officiating. Interment will follow in Olive Springs Cemetery in Marietta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00am until 2:00pm.
