Al Johnson, my next door neighbor, passed away this morning

This morning (Friday), I received a call, at 6am, from my next door neighbor...Her husband, has just passed away in his sleep, at the age of 72, from a long illness...and she wanted to know if I could "come over."

 

It was most definitely a difficult morning, making arrangements with the Hospice and Clark's, on her behalf, to come and "do their thing," and making calls to their family members to come.

 

Stayed with her until Clark's got there, to do their thing and till family got there, just being there...well, knowing that the morning had changed her life, with the loss of her husband of 46 years.

 

Rest in Peace, Mr. Johnson....May God be with you....

Good friend you are!!!!! I'm sure she's grateful she's got you. I have a great neighborhood but we don't have that closeness with our neighbors.

I've been called to do the same............. God Bless you for being there for her. No one should ever die alone and no one should have to go through a loss alone........... you are a good person.
