  1. I've been on topamax for a few months now, and have lost about 20 lbs. The food and soda tasting funny side effect has subsided for me, so hopefully for you it won't be permanent. I do have some tingling in my feet every once in a while, but it doesn't last for long, and it's not very bothersome. I also sometimes can't think of a word that I want to say, or randomly say a word that I didn't mean to say when talking (this is very rare, and hasn't happened in a while, it happened more when I first started taking the medicine). I continue to take it because I can live with the side effects be
  2. Dang! Those are great cakes! She could go into business if she ever gets a wild hair
  3. Can she do egg free cakes? My daughter is extremely allergic to eggs and we can't have store bought cakes for her. We end making our own, which turn out ok, but for her "big" birthdays,I'd love to have a nicer cake (and one for her brother who is turning 1 on the Dec. 30th that she can have).
  4. I've had several good run-ins with the law. Here's a few that stick out in my mind. The first was when I was in college. I was speeding down 316, trying to get to an advisement appointment on time. I was going 85 in a 55 (I was young, and had a fast car). A few years before this, I got a ticket for going 75 in a 55, so I knew that I was in BIG trouble, not only with the law, but with my parents who technically owned my car. The officer informed me that if he wrote me the ticket, I would lose my license. I told him that I understood, but it wouldn't matter because if he wrote me the t
  5. I know this thread has taken a bit of a turn...but I would also like to add that if you are out there taking photos with a telephoto lens, be prepared to be questioned about it. It does/would raise some suspicion to see someone arbitrarily taking photographs of a property without prior knowledge. I would be courteous to those questioning you, but know that they do not have the right to confiscate your equipment without a court order to do so. I'm not saying I agree 100% with what the law allows (or what you're planning on doing...it's just not my thing), but you do have the right to do it i
  6. While I would agree that in general, that if you can see it, you can photograph it...you need to be a bit careful. There are some limitations to this. Some "public" places are not really public (shopping malls come to mind for a specific example). I'm not 100% sure of Wal-Mart is considered public or private, so you might want to research that before you go snap happy there. People assume that since these establishments are open to the public that they are public places, therefore they are able to take photographs/videos there without repercussions. This is not the case. They are private
