  1. Was this the wreck at Dallas Hwy right before you get to Lost Mountain Rd? I think it is Poplar Springs Rd? We saw it heading into Marietta and the driver's side was very seriously damaged. Looked like the SUV made a direct hit on the driver's door. Very bad.
Yes this is the one. If she recovers it will be a miracle. Hubby said she was critical. :(

  2. Prayers for this lady and her family. If anyone knows anything about her condition please let me know. Hubby and I are very concerned. I do know that she was life flighted out so hopefully she will recover.

  3. Please say a prayer for this lady. We came up on it just as it happened and Hubby jumped out and ran over to her. He is a paramedic and police officer. He stayed with her until rescue got there but said she was not good. If anyone knows how she is please let us know and know our prayers are with her. Also, prayers for the other driver. She was understandably shook up.

  4. When my Daughter was 2 yrs. old they kept telling me she just had a virus and after 2 weeks of that I demanded they do a blood test. She was not eating, losing weight, and a very sick little girl. You know you child better than they do. If you think you should take her back then by all means take her back.

  5. My son is in IEP, and while I do think he needs to learn the same things the other kids learn, I think maybe it should be handled differently. If I had the patience and capability to homeschool, I definitley would. He just learns differently than other children. When he has one on one help, he does wonderfully, but in a classroom, he just gets lost.

I think that's the biggest problem with our school systems in general. They lump everyone into a box, and expect the same results from children who all learn at different levels.

I was in the gifted program when I was in school, and never once struggled on any standardized test...always scored in the high percentiles. Having a child that DOES struggle has really opened my eyes to how different people's learning experiences can be.

My daughter is the same way. Hubby and I are seriously considering home schooling next year.
