  1. Yes, he was at Kennestone. Yesterday was his birthday. We are still having a hard time with this loss, as are his family and other friends. His father will be returning to work next week, he also works at the Kroger. Keep him in your prayers, as he feels this will be a hard transition to have to work in the same place that his son is no longer able to. Malia Kroger 673
  2. I talked to Bill's fellow midwife last night and she was of course terribly upset. I have the address of his wife and plan to send her a card. If anyone would like to send Mrs. VanVleet a card of sympathy and a note on how Bill touched your lives you can PM me and I will get you the address. Also, Debra is planning on running an article on Bill in the Paulding paper and is requesting interviews with people who would like to contribute a touching story. PM me for that as well and I will get you in touch with Debra. Malia
  3. I am devastated to hear about this. The first time I read this, I did not realize who this was. I read the name William VanVleet. Did not connect the last name and then I was reading it today just to see how Cableman was doing with the whole thing and I realized it was Bill, which the name I knew him by. I am devasted! I hope that Bill's family, friends and office staff are doing well despite this terrible tragedy. They will b
  4. No info, just that he passed away in a Los Angeles hospital at the age of 80.
  5. That is awesome! Our God is an awesome God!
  6. No problem. I have been attending West Ridge for three years now and unfortunately have never actually met Mr. Bloye, but I feel like I know all about him through all the wonderful stories that Brian and other staff members and attenders have told. I can only imagine the shock the family and West Ridgers are in, as I am. I have had a deep sadness with me the entire day trying to get the news into my head and trying to figure out the logic of it. I will definately be praying for the family.
  7. I don't know if any of you have heard that attend West Ridge Church or if any of you received the West Ridge E-mail Blast, but John Bloye, Brian's father, passed away, I think yesterday, in a rafting accident. That is all the E-mail said. I believe they will be having a special service tomorrow. This is terribly sad and terribly shocking. It is comforting to know that he is definately with God.
  8. Does this mean that if we do not pay, we can no longer come onto Paulding. com and post? Malia
