  1. Well don't you think it should be the parents that should have looked into this first, it really isn't that hard to spot a pot head when you see them.  The parents don't know what the kid is doing and probably never noticed that little johnny's eyes are always red or he has some serious munchies. This is nothing new in any school system. They all have their problems, even the private schools that cost a great deal of money have drug issues. The parents need to take a stand and work with their kids let them know what drugs can do to them and how they will never get anywhere by doing them. Wait till they go to college, if they make it that far, wait till they try to get a job with a conviction on their record. These kids will be in for a big suprise when reality comes crashing down. This is when the addiction starts, so parents please work with your kids and find out what they are doing.

HALF OF THE KIDS PARENTS DO IT WITH THEM...I GO THEIR AND I AGREE THAT MR.WHITFIELD NEEDS TO RETURN HE WAS THE BEST PRINCIPAL NOT MR.GOTTWALD

  2. AcworthDad-What you said about PC_SENIOR06LLR's grammer was uncalled for and totally off the subject.

On another note, I am very sad to hear that you almost lost your son.  Unfortunately I can relate on that subject because I too almost lost my daughter in a terrible car accident when she was two years old.  There is nothing like watching you're child lie helplessly in ICU on life support, knowing that there is nothing that you can do to make it better.  Luckily my story had a happy ending and my daughter is now 17 and the complications that she has are very minor compared to what they could have been and what they were expected to be.  It was a long, long healing process though!  And in case anyone is wondering, the wreck wasn't our fault.  We were hit from behind full force.  The driver never put his brakes on.  While my daughter was in the hospital trying to recover from this accident, my neice was killed in an automobile accident on I-85.  She didn't have her seatbelt on and her friend (the driver) was going too fast for conditions.  It was terribly foggy outside.  Needless to say, that was a very difficult time for us all.

My prayers truly go out to the families of these young men.  I know how difficult it is for them.

im sorry to hear that im also 17..i hate to drive becasue of the way peolpe NOT JUST TEENS drive.

  3. The 18 yo Justin was not the owner, nor were his parents, of the BMW, it was the 15yo Mom's car, but the 15yo drives over here all the time. and I would like to believe they were going 60, but I have seen them do 60 on my dead end rd. Maybe they were, but it really doesn't matter. It happened, and I am praying for everyone involved and hoping this will make their friends slow down.

And Justin's brother is NOT named Andrew. maybe it is someone else's brother. ???

im sorry i got justins brother and bretts brother mixed up i sorry . now i cant think of justins brothers name

  4. Agree. Also, I cannot help but notice that PC_SENIOR06LLR's skills in written English need improvement. If I were his father, in addition to your suggestions, there would be no driving any car whatsoever until his grades and his use of the English language improved.

However, this is a very sad situation. Having almost lost my son in May 2004, I express my prayers to the families.

oh and im a GIRL not a guy. ok so i cant spell that good so what does that matter..and for your information i have all A's in school.....and agian it dont matter how i talk or spell.............this is a sad situation and they are people i know...and im sorry you almost lost your son...i my self have almost died from an accident. it was a year ago this wedesday and just like this accident people say stuff and they dont know what happened people were saying that i was drunk and on drugs but in actuallity i was on my way to work going 45mph and also people on Pcom were saying i hit someone but i didnt i went off a 40ft cliff on buchanan hwy

  5. and my question for you is how accurate is your information?  The news did not have that information if it  is accurate then who was driving 60mph, and why were they hit?

The sad thing is a tradgey has accured and regardless of age or who caused it it was due to reckless driving.

I know some adults who drive like maniacs too.  Some who should not have a license due to their age, some who abuse drugs and alcohol.  If there is any proof to this please bring it on the board as I am sure that someone will look for the proof and there will be questions regarding this information...

my information is from andrew justins brother... justin told andrew all of this..justin and the other boys were driving 60 and they were going to pass a car and the car swirved over and hit them.

  6. I completly agree with teen drivers need more classes or something. These boys "fly " up and down my road. I live on a short dead end road with about 10 houses.  It makes me so mad because I have small children. My neighbor told me that they were leaving teen night at Cowboys, that is why they were out so late, and they were driving a brand new BMW!!!

wht does it matter what they were drivng it could have been a beat up station wagon and it would have done the same damage.

  7. Nobody bashed the family.  We are simply stating facts about teen driving.  You can ignore it by sticking your head in the sand but we won't.

well im a teen driver and ill tell you right now my parents can preach and preach until their blue in the face but if i want to drive 60 on in a 45 then i will no matter if my parents tell me to or not... its the drivers decision... the only was a parent can be more responsible is buy riding around with their children....but thats the whole point of a drivers license is u can drive on your own ....... and onother thing 3 out of 4 of the teens in teh car were adults... so you can t blame it on the parents they are old enough to make their own decision... and i dont appreciat you voicing your opinion when you probobly dont even know waht really happen unless you read my previous post.

  8. i got an update........this is what really happened.. justin was driving and and they were trying to pass a car the other car swirved over and hit them Knocked them in to the median and justin and the other boys hit another car head on going 60 in the other lane.....brett and justin was life flighted to grady and brett dyed on the way to grady. and justin has holes in his lungs...hes still in critical conditon.. martin broke his collar bone his arm and some other bones. and stan did on inpact.
