I've got one that's just your generic piano boogie woogie stuff......if you can get past the way I looked at the time, and just listen to the music, it's not too bad. NOthing rehearsed....just sorta outa my butt, when my daughter showed me her camera could do this. I need time to do GOOD stuff!!!

I love me some piano music and Freebird is a favorite of mine!!!! You do a great job!

  2. I second the motion for a notebook computer if she does not already have one and is planning on going to college. Not quite as sentimental as jewelry, but you could still give her jewelry or other sentimental items.

    Just a Geek's perspective.

    I agree . ;)

  3. I am not aware of any, however its an awesome idea for us Moms that have to work outside of the home. I think they could make a decent lving for those 2nd shift or late working moms. Just like the immediate care facilities, I said years ago that would be a money maker... Good luck.

When I lived in Fayette County they had 24 hour daycare. They catered to the airline pilots and flight attendants that lived there and both of them always had a waiting list. I would hate to have to leave my child at one overnight, but for those that work until 7 or 11 it would be a great idea for one to be open until midnight.

  4. Just to add to what you posted!!!

While some believe that Valentine's Day is celebrated in the middle of February to commemorate the anniversary of Valentine's death or burial -- which probably occurred around 270 A.D -- others claim that the Christian church may have decided to celebrate Valentine's feast day in the middle of February in an effort to 'christianize' celebrations of the pagan Lupercalia festival. In ancient Rome, February was the official beginning of spring and was considered a time for purification. Houses were ritually cleansed by sweeping them out and then sprinkling salt and a type of wheat called spelt throughout their interiors. Lupercalia, which began at the ides of February, February 15, was a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture, as well as to the Roman founders Romulus and Remus.

  5. Have you ever read on the back of shower gels. A lot of them are made in China. I was placing all of the different shower gels I got for Christmas in my bathroon cabinet and was reading the ingredients and noticed on the majority of them they were made in China. Now I'm not sure I want to use them. What is your opinion?

  6. I'm not sure what year they were there but I have extended family, the Waters, that went to that school. I think one of them, Albert Waters, coaches there now or did in the past.

    Ring any bells?

Albert Waters was my next door neighbor growing up? His sisters were Diane and Joy and I believe he still coaches at Model. :)
