    That is why I chose Pink, to go against the norm and what was expected.

     

     

    Can we start a new color if I pay my "dues"?  :unsure:

    I got them to change the avatar, and so now you want to change the color? :p

     

     

    So..here's an idea then for you....how about we MERGE....that's right, how about we merge the ORANGE and PINK clubs to be one big united club! We can take a poll - we'll pick the winning ONE color and we go with it.

    Is this the part by the high school or by 92? If it's by the high school, that must explain why the driver of a minivan with some dance school stuff on the rear window was driving 35 mph yesterday and was riding the brakes while approaching the green light at the HS and then proceeded to randomly hit the brakes the rest of the way to 278. Must have been afraid to hit the speed limit, but wasn't concerned about getting hit.

    I would like to set up a very simple sight where users can sign up for emails or take themselves out of the list.  I'm using Bellsouth, and they allow scripting

    My web hosting account includes a mailing list as one of the many features. Check with Bellsouth to see if they already have a mailing list feature.

     

    My friend uses SendMeMore!. I don't know anything about them, just passing on a link.

    A week ago a Powder Springs cop called me a moron. Perhaps I was guilty, but so was he. He had just sped by me going at least 15 mph over the speed limit, then tells me that I could have caused an accident.

    One night a couple years ago I was driving west on I-20 inside Atlanta. I was in the far left lane with a few cars in front of me, nobody was in the center lane, and a few cars including a police car (I don't remember if it was APD or not) were in the right lane. We were all going under the speed limit, so I got into the center lane and sped up. The cop pulled me over and asked what my hurry was. I didn't say a word so he just told me to slow down and sent me on my way. Funny thing was I never exceeded the speed limit.

     

     

    it is illegal to blow your horn on a GA highway for any reason other than life or death or to stop an accident from occuring.

    Can somebody give me an example of this kind of situation?

    I would rather donate $$ that buy overpriced things the kids have to sell.

    I think of it as buying a product and making a cash donation. However usually I just don't want to buy the product(s).

     

    I think the Coke fundraiser is great, something that I am going to buy anyway. How come you didn't tell me??

    There is somebody that I ignore 24/7 and try to overlook but haven't banned them from my view. I don't see why they come here when they seem to not like P.com, must not have a life other than trolling here and bashing Pubby.

    Gee, wonder who that could be... :D

    Just thought I'd add that I was out of town all weekend, and had made my opinion last week due to his/her actions after the Honkin' poll was closed. I posted that comment before I read the "NAACP march" thread.

    I was going to do yard work and wash my car today, but now it's wet outside so here I am. I also had plans to go to the Fair this evening, but I don't want to play in the mud again. Maybe I'll just stay inside all day and work on cleaning the house...

    I had thoughts of getting together with EIM and Chris and seeing if we could get started with organizing activities for the younger P.com crowd. I thought if that turned out well, we could move on to having activities for singles, but you're right Amy, the singles' activities should be for all ages.

    Washing Hands

    Did anyone else see the survey on the news that 32% of men do not wash their hands after going to the restroom and 16% of women do not wash after going? This is just nasty.  Now I know why I do not go in public restrooms.

    I heard this on the radio Thursday morning. The numbers are for the restrooms at Turner Field. They said somebody would hang out in the restroom combing their hair or touching up makeup and keep track of how many people washed their hands.
