  1. Sadly, this is true. The Honda never slowed down as far as I could see. Maybe she was unfamiliar with the area, and didn't see the stop sign. Who knows.
  2. The Honda was entering hwy 61 from Mt. Moriah Rd, and pulled out in front of the Explorer and was struck directly in the driver side door. We were going around 45-50mph at the time, and there was no way the driver of the Explorer could have avoided hitting the other car. It was still dark out, and I can only assume that the driver of the Honda didn't see us coming.
  3. It was a black Honda and a Ford Explorer. I was directly behind the Explorer, heading north on 61 around 6:20 this morning when the accident happened. Myself and another man (that appeared to be an acquaintance of the lady that was driving the Honda) along with an off-duty PC Sheriff's deputy, tried to help the lady. Unfortunately, there was so much damage to the body of the car that neither of the front doors could be opened. Police and rescue started showing up around 5 minutes after calling 911, but at that point, there was nothing anyone could do. Aside from a whiplash-like neck injury,
