I think he was a politician, but now he is the Governor of GA. He stole enough from his Supporters while he was running for office, and his daughter-in-law's business got a lot of that money. Politicians are supposed to become representatives to the tax payers once they win the election.

No outrage here, cptio, just reporting to GA tax payers, who pay more Georgia taxes than myself. As a retired old man, I don't pay much taxes. I lost most all of my assets when I left Paulding county.

The State of Georgia claims that its statutes are a copyrighted work, and that rogue archivist Carl Malamud and public.resource.org committed an act of piracy by making the laws of Georgia free for all to see and copy. The state makes a lot of money vending the "Official Code of Georgia Annotated," which contains critical annotations to the basic statutes, and which the courts rely upon to interpret the law. Georgia claims that if Malamud is allowed to make copies of the law available, they will no longer have any incentive to make good laws, because they won't be able to profit from them. M

Practicing freedom of religion means allowing others to have freedom of religion. It doesn't mean dictate their ideas of religion. A dictator doesn't believe in freedom of anything.

That religion you speak of is not free, but rather commanded by Christians. Christian religion is not the only free religion, in this country. I don't want to hear Devil worshipers singing to the public, and to school children, based on their freedom of religion. And, I don't want Old Southern Baptist, Christians, singing in public places, either. I don't impose my religion by telling people they have to be Christians, and believe like I do.

It seems to me that tax payers, here in Georgia, has representation. And, those representatives are good. But who the hell are they representing. How can you put O.C.G.A behind a paywall, and claim ignorance of the law is no excuse when being arrested? Do you understand us as dummies, who doesn't know the simpleness of laws that you claim are clear on their face, and not overly broad? How the hell are we going to know if they are clear on their face, and not overly broad, if it cost us, $300 or more, to see? Give me a G D break!

I wonder how NJ thinks it was freedom of religion that got this woman in jail. I thought is was for not abiding by the law. Just because someone has freedom of religion doesn't mean they are the judge of the law, She can't even judge what other people gets by the law.

That would really make G D, and ABR jealous! But, I don't care! It is a long ways to Dallas, for an old white bearded man, so maybe we can find a fitness center between here and there. ABR lives too far away, now, but maybe we could get G D interested in a Gym party.

She just had a birthday, and she said she enjoyed that. But, there is more I want to jibber jabber about. I want to share this story, of change, from Oregon, Low! She made the mistake of trying to impose her religion, instead of recognizing the fact that her religion is only as free as everyone else's. She is not God, but she thinks she is being called by God. He is the only judge of that. Can she judge, you, me, or anybody, other than her own self? What does God Think? AND: Who does she think she is?
