  1. Hmm, that's odd. I always call in my order and they always answer fairly quickly.

    Mon - Thurs: 11-10

    Fri - Sat: 11-11

    Sunday: 12-10

I know -- We always call in our orders also. I have their # in my cell phone

I just didn't want to drive all the way there & find out they were closed or worse yet -- had MSG! (I get migranes & don't like to chance it -- the only caffeine I have is in CHOCOLATE!!

  2. All I know is you'll shake and tremor like a heroin junkie for a while until things wear off....not a bad trade off though, considering what it does for killing the pain.

AMEN!! Although the shakes were pretty scary!

OP - Hope you feel better soon!

  3. Hope your surgery goes well, my husband had his gall bladder removed a couple of years ago -- no problems, just my case of the nerves in the waiting area!

Seriously, I don't go to a pharmacy that offers a $4 prescription unless the prescription being filled is a $4 one!! Then I drop it off & go back the next day.

  4. I'm going all out tonight -- you are going to be so jealous & my kitchen will be a mess.....

    Hamburger Helper -- Lasagna

with salad & garlic bread.

    I'm being very lazy today.

  5. Day 5 & still flea free!

My kids are spraying the Febreeze Air Effects in the basement in the morning & b4 they go to bed. They just walk around spraying it like they were just trying to freshen the air! The only side effect is my basement smells great!!

By the way, there is no carpeting down there, so the treatments that work for my carpeted areas would not work. I use Borateem (the laundry detergent) on the carpets.

  6. I just visited the Q100 website, I found a call in or enter it over the internet page... not one that updates by pump.

Personally, I think that would be next to impossible to do in the amount of time that they have had to put it together. Besides, who would have paid for it?

  7. Paulding actually has a lot of different postal addresses. In addition to Dallas (with two zip codes) and Hiram, Paulding residents have addresses listed in Acworth, Douglasville, Powder Springs, Rockmart, Temple, and Villa Rica. I'm not sure there is another county like it in the state!

When I lived in Woodstock (Cherokee) I had an Acworth address. If you live somewhat close to a county line you may have an out of county post office delivering your mail.

  8. Personally, I think they tripped over the shark but whoever wrote Edie's story line made sure they landed on the other side!

I've allready given up one fav show, I'll give them 1 more week.

Now -- The Unit, I'm going to start watching that one again!

  9. Day 2 -- no fleas!

Kid's have been in basement playing & didn't see any fleas on them.

Yesterday we treated the kittens with capstar & about 1 hour later we treated them with frontline. They spent the night in the basement & they don't have anymore fleas on them!! Yeah!

The only thing that seems to have worked is the Febreeze!

Will keep checking & will update tomorrow!

  10. We have four critters at home.....2 small dogs, one big one and a cat.......we bathe and bathe use frontline and I still have them in the house once in a while. But I will definately try this.....I keep hoping once the weather gets cold the rotten things will disappear........Thanks for the tip.............I wonder if you could put it on the carpet or in your carpet shampooer?

The Febreeze we used was the one for the air -- it is in an aeresol (sp??) can. I haven't tried the one for fabrics.

  11. First, let me say my basement was infested. We bombed at least 3 times, possibly 4 I lost count! Didn't help.

I got this flea spray to use & it helped IF we vacuumed & sprayed every day. With 3 kids in school & a toddler, that was nearly impossible.

My son decided for some reason to spray Febreeze in the basement (the one for air) & guess what? FLEAS DO NOT LIKE FEBREEZE. They have packed their little bags & moved on! We had treated out doors with some stuff they didn't like either so (for now) we are flea free!

Just thought I'd pass this on - don't know if it's coincidence or not, but....

So now we are treating the cats with the capstar & frontline --

    We'll see!
