Same yes but then I think of what use to be were the BBQ Rest. is now (it was a auto mech. garage with lift etc. plus a store with a restaurant) and it don't seem so bad. They do have to meet the Codes and Standards so reckon it is safe.

Teachers teach and parents should help their children learn of course no one can make anyone learn if they don't want to. makes no difference when they start or stop. But I wish it was the way it use to be when both parents didn't have to work and didn't have to pay out the nose (specially single parents) for day care and summer vacation was still summer vacation and every body got to spend quality time with their family, now there never seems to be that much time anymore. Oh No!!! wake me up I am dreaming. Don't see that ever happening again. Maybe thing will work out and all will be right with the world again. Would be nice if the Majority was listened to for a change.

Well Yorkville is really moving on up in this county. The Yorkville Market has opened up a Meat Market with a meat cutter and all that stuff. Haven't tried it out yet they just opened up today.

Don't feel so bad. We have been trying for years to have the county run water down our road, every road around us has running (county) water but us, one would think that with all the taxes we pay we could at least get one service from it. Don't get me wrong I love my well water but with all the sub/divs that sprung up around us I get concerned with the safety of the well water (we do have it tested on a regular basis). Don't guess the county cares though.

Personally I would not bring a child under 10 but each child is different so use your own judgement. I don't even like horror films that much and gee I am well over 60. Everyone that has been through in past years has given two thumbs up some even needed dry britches, so you may want to think about the "Depends".

Ok it is an outside spook house. You are guided through a trail and scary things happen. All proceeds go to the Vol Fire Dept. Starts at dark till midnight 12yr & under $5.00 Adults $10.00 and it has always been well worth the money. Will Be Oct 16, 17, 23, 24 and the 30th.

Nightmare On The Mountain, the Haunted Trail will be starting up this weekend. This is presented by the Vinson Mt. Vol Fire Dep. and is located @ the Vol Fire Station on Vinson Mt. Road, Rockmart. Y'all come on out and have some fun.

I wondered what had happened there. I had to go thru the intersection on my way to Kennestone about 1:00 this afternoon and thought the sand, oil spill and the paint looked real fresh on the pavement.

went through there at that time yest. and I bet you that every type sherf., GSP, DOT whatever, had trucks of all sizes and shapes pulled over on both sides of I-20, even had them pulled to the left on the median.

Hopper626 if you have time or get the chance you can go to ScanAmerica.com and pick Georgia as the State and Paulding Co from the Ga. map and you can listen real time or go to the archives by choosing date and time and find out. If lifeflight was there then Paulding Station #1 should have been called and you should be able to find out. This feed will have S.O. and Fire and Rescue and most of Clarks. I left Ingles at 12:40pm and there had been nothing as of that time that I saw.

There are two Scott's one the older smaller store is on Hwy 101 Beulah/Yorkvile Communities which I think was the one robbed last night and the other the newer bigger store where the 42 million Mega Ticket was sold a couple of weeks ago, is on Goldmine Rd in downtown Yorkville which was robbed just a little while back. Rosies Store is at the 120 Buchan. Hwy and 101/113 intersection.

Was told that there was a bad accident in front of Yorkville Mkt. yesterday and Life Flight flew someone out.
Don't have a clue as to what time but was told it had nothing to do with Goldmine incident, just wondering if anyone out there had heard anything about this or if it might be posted somewhere I may have missed.

I was told by a person at Yorkville Mkt. which has a Rockmart address, that the ticket was sold at Scott's in Yorkville which does have a Dallas, Ga. address. No wonder I stay so confused. I live in Yorkville and have a Rockmart address and Dallas Phone number. I think the Scott's on 101 has either a Temple or Dallas address and a Dallas phone #. Gosh I'm going crazier than I already am.
