  1. We had our son's 4th birthday party today over at 655 West. He wanted Scooby Doo and thats what we planned. Scooby was also invited to the party. Jackson didn't have much to do with him. But anyway, all of his friends and family came out to help him celebrate. Wanted to share a few pictures from the party.

  2. I second that. But Jackson has been let this for several months. We have to fight and argue to get in bed and know he wants to sleep with us or make a pallet next to our bed. ?????? BTW are yall coming to his birthday party?

  3. To make a long story short, I have had a headache since last Friday. Very dull but last night I could not take it anymore. The pain was so bad and I was crying. Started vomiting, took pain meds, nothing worked.... DH called his mom and ask her to come over and stay with our son. He takes me to Paulding ER. I know in the past how long it has took and I was ready. At this point I did not care. From the time we walked in the door, till the time we walked out. It was only about an hour. How great is that. I was already feeling bad, so the last thing was waiting. But they were great. Got me in a bed and in came the Doctor. The nurse came in with pain meds and told me she would be back. It was so nice to be in and out in such a short time because I could rest at home better. Again that Paulding ER, you have improved soooo much from the last visit.

Needless to say, I have been in bed since 2 am and got up at 5 pm. Feeling much better.

  4. Our elf has made his apperance. Jackson thinks that it is grand. He cann't wait to see where elfer is when he wakes up. Then he ask him if he had a nice trip seeing Santa. Then walks off and just watches from time to time to see what elfer might do. Elfer has changed places when Jackson has left the room after a long talk.

  5. Husband came in this morning to tell me that Bartow Co. Sheriff Dept. arrested and located the goods stolen from the Bargin Barn. Also at supper last night my Dad stated that GLT Plumbing items have been located. I don't know all of the detail yet but maybe Gee-Tee can update us more on that.

Moral of storie. Don't take things that are not yours - you will be caught.

That's what I am saying. When everyone is out on Black Friday, I will be snug in my bed.

  7. Got up this morning to hubby making breakfast. It was wonderful and the best part was that he made me coffee. He doesn't drink coffee so he usually lets me handle that. I ask him what I did to deserve this special morning. He said nothing. Awe, thanks hubby.

  9. Will make sure to send up lots of prayers for him. I am glad to hear that he is doing as well. Make sure to take care of yourselves because the doctors, nurses and the Lord will take care of him. Please continue to update us on his well being. God Bless your family.

  10. We have just got home from the fall festival @ Burnt Hickory Elem. I had to drag my son screaming and crying. Everyone did a wonderful job putting it together and making it work. I even liked the idea of a bus ride back to my car. I know that there were little things that went wrong but everyone pulled together to put on a great show. It was a fall festival that I will not forget. Oh yeah, thanks for letting me volunteer my time, even through I do not have a child in school. I cann't wait until next year. Also thanks to all of the parents, aunts, uncles, friends, etc who came out to support the school. Cann't wait to see that playground......

  11. We are so excited to say our son is back in the USA and will be home today after his deployment to Afghanistan with the 24th unit of the United States Marines. We are so thankful for all the prayers and support during his time away and we need to continue to support the troops.

Welcome home son Cpl. Nathan Barron. You are our hero!

    So proud to hear.
