I saw an odd silver BMW on South Davis Mill around 5:20. It had a drive-out tag, used. It was off the side of the road.

I think the thief/thieves are from a neighboring subdivision.
I have also had it. I am over it. I feel so on edge and un safe. I am tired of always having to look over my shoulder and worried about my daughter....everytime the dog barks and fly for the window to look who is out there.
I am also starting to think what someone just posted, that it's someone close to this neighborhood. Which is said, because you are suppose to TRUST THE NEIGHBOR.
I have to give a shout out to the PCSO - they have been working very hard - they have been coming thru a lot. They are trying.
There is a Neighborhood Watch being established and we have our first meeting coming up!
I can tell you, that if you come into Mill Pointe and you are car that we are not aware of or don't know...you will be called on...not to be mean, we are all just very cautious at this point.

ANOTHER HOUSE IN MILLPOINTE WAS ROBBED TODAY!!!
WHEN IS THIS GOING TO STOP!!!!!
Time of day?

Did you watch all night?
They are daylight break-ins. So, I'd guess not.

I just posted in the discussion area of the Paulding Sheriff's Facebook page.

Mikey -
This is good information.
There are two common elements here.
Cable Company truck
and Man in truck with hoodie.
The Man in truck in Hoodie - has been seen TWICE!
My annoyance now comes with the PCSO - I have been since Friday....and have not seen ONE SO patrol this neighborhood!!!!
This is horrible.
The break - in on Amy Lane happened between the hours of 12:30pm and 3:30pm on Friday. Truck with White Male. However, we think this guy tried to get in earlier as she was in the house. She heard something on the back deck moving around. We think she spooked him and he came back.
The others, I am not sure about.
However, my daughter was sent home early from school on Tues and called me at work freaked out b/c there was the Comcast Truck in our CulDeSac and he was just sitting in front of the house and writing. She said when he saw her, he moved to the house next door and sat there for awhile and then moved on. If I had known, I would have called someone at the SO office's or Cable Company.
I plan on printing out some flyers at work on Monday, making copies and giving them to everyone in the neighborhood. Just to make them aware of everything going on.
Mikey - any thoughts?
I haven't seen the any patrol cars at all.

Just found out, another house was hit....on Mill Pointe trail.
Please keep your eyes out!!! Ask questions!!
The only thing I have found out - is that there has been a "Comcast" van driving threw the neighborhood and the culdesacs.....alot of us DO NOT have Comcast.
Do you have details on this one? Date, general time of day?
Here's what I know:
1) One break-in attempt about 2 weeks ago (I don't want to post names/addresses here)
2) One break-in at my neighbor's house on Mill Pointe Trail last week (some kind of pick-up truck, man in hoodie)
3) One break-in at a friend's house one block up on Mill Pointe Trail late last week
4) Break-in on Amy Lane Friday or Saturday? (pick-up truck?)
My wife noticed one of those "cable company" trucks in our end of the subdivision late evening Thursday.
Are there others?

It's located here, right?

Here we go again. Sorry to hear this. There's somebody at home here 24 hours now. Porch lights on, alarm on, and cameras going.

Disaster resource centers are opening tomorrow. You can stop in and speak in person with FEMA and other agency reps - and apply for services such as disaster unemployment and food stamps. I'm tweeting updates here: http://twitter.com/probono_ga

Woohoo, hoo hoo hoo, *dancing*
It says nothing approved yet for government buildings or roads etc., but this is GREAT news for those with damaged homes seeking housing, repairing damage, etc.
The article states to contact FEMA:
"Residents should call FEMA at 1-800-621-FEMA to apply for assistance."
State DFCS and State Dept of Labor MAY decide to take advantage of federal funds for disaster food stamps, food replacement program and disaster unemployment insurance. We shall see.

To add: This is for drop-offs only to be picked up by churches and other organizations.

It's a very poorly designed intersection. Cars park themselves out in the intersection in front of the solid white line, cars coming up the hill on Carruth can barely see oncoming traffic for left turns, and cars race thru the intersection very aggressively to keep others from turning. Oh, and the left turn light lasts about 5 seconds. Prays for all involved and those who will be injured there in the future.
