Hi Christy and all P.com readers, I have a real question about fires burning not only at night, but every fall and every spring just as we can open windows and get fresh air and cut our utility bills we get SMOKE FILLED HOMES instead! Tuesday Morning has great deals-how do I know, because I compare shop and even the pricing on an original box will show the proof of that. I bought a box of thank you notes (orig $8.50) I paid $1.99! I had a question emailed about the length of time between storms and claim filed, so posting that answer here as update. The storms hit in April and May 09, we had damages show up on inside of house at two locations, but we did not realize it was from the hail storms per se. We painted over with Kilz and went up in attic to try and track leak without much success. I ironically took photos of the hail size = quarter, but it wasn't until the heavy Sept storms that multiple leaks in LR, and 2 bedrooms showed up again visually on ceilings. That flood brought agents from other states here and one

With these storms passing through GA again in April and May, please let me know if you receive Hail damages and file for coverage and are denied or approved. It was one year ago that the storms hit and the fight goes on for some of us to receive our rightful benefits. There is so much more to this situation that I don't know where to start. I've had five roofing companies look at roof and declare hail damages. Two of those reps went up with Travelers adjuster on the roof and came down saying something totally different-why? The last one that came down from an inspection with the adjuster would not look me in the eye for the world, but kept shaking his head and staring at the ground-why? This same person was very aggressive about getting me to sign papers allowing his company to "do the work" and get the insurance company to pay them direct prior to the agen

April and May 2009 Paulding County had hail storms. Did you file a claim for damages and were you denied? If yes, can you email me your story? I was the ONLY homeowner in 254 housing subdivision that has been denied. Over 50 homes have new roofs including all my immediately surrounding neighbors. I need as much evidence as possible to continue the fight with Travelers insurance and yes, I did file with the State Insurance Commissioner.
