You are speaking of the "carry law" that passed early this year. The above is a line that was crossed out in the changes to the zero tolerance law for school districts. The original zero tolerance law has been changed to allow school districts leeway in deciding punishment and it intended to take some of the felony convictions that are really high among high school students because of the original law a chance for lesser charges.
