  1. hes hiding in momas side of the bed because he knows he did something bad..been trying to love on me all morning . stil canr find the damned glasses. now he is under the couch crying... such a pain in the but he can be ....

they are bound to show up---just hope we don't step on them or something....

  2. where would you look? I apparently laid my glasses down somewhere yesterday evening and now cannot find them. Now, I have looked in all the logical spots and cannot find them, which leads me to believe that perhaps I laid them in a perfectly logical spot, but where the cat could also get to them. They are now nowhere to be found.

    Where would you look???

  3. I missed the first one, but I think the answer to the second one is wrong. If you overtake the last person, you feasibly could be in any position other than last, if the track is round and you are travelling fast enough to have "lapped" them.

  4. I have a question too. I do not mean this in any bad way at all but is she mentally competent of using a stove and not forgetting about what is on it or whatever? I do not personally know her but she just seems a bit out there and she spends so much time walking the roads, I would just hate for something to happen and her house really burn down.

Watch the video if you haven't. I think Ms Jessie seems very competent. Different, maybe. Unconventional, maybe. Competent, yes.

  5. OR Mine!

That is why we met a LICENSED ELECTRICIAN as the original post states.

I have had only 1 person call me with concerns.

I make the same offer to you. Instead of typing you are more than welcome to call or stop by

and we will go over to MS Jessie's House.

Thank you for your clarification Curtis. I knew you'd be on top of things.

  6. This is my greatest fear, if this isn't done to code and inspected.

with all the people in the community that know her (businesses included)...I would think that the materials, if nothing else, could be donated (or worst case, purchased from someone/somewhere at cost) and that the labor involved might be the only expense. I'm sure that CC is taking all of this into consideration. Perhaps someone in the electrical field may come foward to do this "up to code" if the materials could be donated. I am just exploring options though.

  7. No, they think I am bashing the idea. On the contrary, I think it is great to help her out, but not going about it in the right way.

I hope they are not doing more harm by adding a band aid to wound that needs major sugery.

    -_-

I believe that electrical work does not have to be inspected in all cases, but I could be wrong.

  8. Froggy we have a paypal account if you want to send it to us and we can just take cash when we go this afternoon. It is: email@scarletindulgence.com I can assure you, we can be trusted. You can ask anyone on here. Just pm me if you want to do that and I'll check paypal later. It usually goes in very quickly.

You need to send me your address too so I can send you the product you won with your donation a while back...you never got back with me...I'll just send you a nice assortment of stuff. PM me with your address please!!

    Scarlet

We sent our donation to your paypal and included an extra $1 for fees from paypal, so CC can add our money to the list ($20)

Isn't this just the tip of the iceburg?

If she gets this stuff updated in an old uninsulated house, then will be using more electricity, won't she then have a problem paying the electric bill, which will now be higher due to the upgrades?

Are the wires in the wall capable of handling an new circuit board? Will plugs have to be replaced and fixtures?

I would think you would be doing more harm by updating the circuit box and leaving old and cracked wiring in the walls, to where it would be easy for a fire to start.

From Pubby's video, that house was in her family for a long time and she will not leave. It would seem to me that it will take a hell of alot more than 1000 dollars to make things right.

    Just a thought.

We live (now) in what was considered to be an old, uninsulated house and our power bill was excellent for this past month. I was very pleasantly surprised. I don't know what Ms. Jessie's case is or how old the home is.

  9. I am so proud of our son as he is graduating from college tomorrow morning!!! He will get to wear two sets of cords - for honors in Political Science (his major) and for being an officer in the Kennesaw State University student government. He thinks its so cool that he beat his identical twin brother by graduating a few months ahead of him - he will graduate in May. I am very proud of both of them as they are truly wonderful young men.

He will begin law school next fall at Georgia State University and I am so excited about this new phase of his life. When he was 5 years old he was critically ill with spinal (bacterial) meningitis and I prayed that he would recover and I would be able to see him accomplish many things. Thankfully he didn't have any lasting consequences from this illness and God chose to answer this prayer. I hope to see him accomplish many more things and I can truly say he has worked very hard!

    Congrats to Jeremy!

  10. OMG my hands are sweating!!! I would have LOVED to go!!

    I love that man!!!

and yes he could use a few pounds lately. But That Would Not Stop Me!!!

You woulda fell over. He took a stool on the catwalk and sat literally right beside me when he sang "Life Ain't Always Beautiful". He gave his guitar pick to the girl sitting right behind me.
