  1. Sorry deerslayer, but taking someone's IP address (information that only an admin has access to) and going to see if it can be tied to a specific company is snooping. No harm done in this case, but what I would like to impress on Pubby is that it is important that he maintains the trust of his users. I may disagree with Pubby on politics 99% of the time, but up to this point I have not doubted whether or not he could be trusted on the anonymity issue.

You can even go to any members profile and click on"display name history" and see just how many times they changed their user name.

  2.

Pubby, I can assure you that I have done nothing to mask my IP address, but I do find the fact that you went snooping to be a little disturbing. If my IP address had led you to believe that I was Mr. Anivatarte, would you have compromised my anonymity?

He didn't "go snooping"per se.Any admin or moderator can see the ip address of every member here.If it's like a board I was mod on,it's right under the user name.Just plug the addy into the ip search engine and any mod knows where you are posting from.

It's a nifty little tool to find out who has multiple user names.

  3. While my mind is on getting ready for the debate tonight, I have to note that I'm still working on a handful of videos including the groundbreaking for the road extension from Cedarcrest and Seven Hills to GA 92 ... which ought to be a prominent part of this topic - i.e. things David has done.

    pubby

So more vehicles will be on an already crowded 92?

I really don't see the need for this road..............at one time there was a road that went all the way thru and connected to old stilesboro road.

  4. Now I get what you are saying, we had a poll that was only for people that were against it, I ask Pubby to do one that was less slanted and would also give us some demographic insight to the voting that we felt would actually be more fair. If the road directly effects you, takes away your land or quality of life it is perfectly understandable how you would feel. The first poll was only for those people.

This poll gives you insight as to why people would vote yes, obviously they are not directly effected. I and Pubby think that it does matter if you work out of the county or if you have a struggling business, unemployed, or seeking a job close to home because of family issues.

As you have pointed out the poll pops up every time you vote in it, they are designed to do that, even the other Poll about the issue would if you voted in it today. We usually archive them after 30 days, it has not been 30 days.

    CRAP|!!!!!

I did not even look at the date1.gif

Pubby-please accept my no toll road,no more neighbors, mud road loveing apology

  5. I can only assume that you prefer websites to be visited that agree with your point of view, might we go so far as to shut down websites that you don't agree with?

    nope

If two people are of like mind, one of them is not needed.

But,we've had the meeting.Pretty obvious nobody wants another road. And now pubby wants to drag out the dead horse and beat on it again.

  6. I just got back from the airport.

It was good to talk to friends Jerry Shearin(greeter) Joey Pelfry,Gary Gulledge and see cousin Micah Gravley.

Was introduced to Congressman Tom Graves...was amazed at the humbleness of a politician.

If you have small children they will have a blast, lots of jumpy houses.....I think the Glock booth was the most popular.

This was the first time I'd ever been to the airport,...I was impressed....Still don't think we needed it.
