I have not been on here in quite some time, but when I heard about Miss Jessie passing, I decided to join p.com again so that I could post about her. Many things have changed in my life over the last few years. My wonderful granddaughter Shelby who is now 7 years old and a 13 year old grandson now and am blessed with a wonderful Son In Law who is married to my daughter Buffy. Shelby is in the honors program at Allgood Elementary School and thriving! My son BJ is now 28 and has recently purchased his first home and I am very proud of both of them. My step-daughter Marjorie, is currently in college, engaged to be married and a beautiful young woman, inside and out. As for me, my life has changed in all aspects of my life. My back and foot issues have become manageable, with a few episodes here and there caused from travel to and from my Parents house near Manchester, but otherwise, much better, both physically and emotionally. There have been many other changes in my life this year that came from difficult decisions, but were decisions that were for the best. While I leave an old life behind, I embrace all that it was, remembering the happy times, letting go of the sad ones and taking the time along the way to learn the lessons that God wanted me to learn so that I am not destined to repeat the same mistakes. For that, I am truly grateful.
