Brother Lonnie Poore, a United States Navy veteran and an experienced battlefield soldier in God’s Mighty Army received his final orders and reported to his eternal destination for peace and rest on Sunday, August 20, 2017. He was born on May 28, 1941, in Saltville, VA, to the late Claude Preston & Lucille Poore, and was preceded in death by his daughter, Geneva Poore, brother, Thomas Payton Poore and sister, Delores Poore. Brother Lonnie, an old-school soldier, received on-the-job training on his knees and fought the devil in the deepest trenches armed with the precious Word of God.
