William Russell Fielder, SR, age 87, of Hiram, GA, passed away on January 1, 2018. He was born on November 6, 1930, in Cochran, GA, to the late George Conway & Annie Lee Fielder, and was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Mary Jeanette Fielder, son, Russell Fielder, two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Holland was a United States Navy Veteran where he served in the Korean War, was a 1951 graduate of University of GA, retired as an executive from Sears Roebuck of Atlanta after 45 years of service, and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church where he was ordained as a deacon in 1958. She was born on April 19, 1925, in Rome, GA, to the late Hiram & Artie Johnston, and was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Sims; sons, Buddy Sims and James Sims; and daughter, Betsy Sims Morgan.
