  1. Cockroach Control German Cockroach, Blattella germanica, is the cockroach most frequently encountered by Georgia exterminators. If there's anything that most people agree on, it's that they hate cockroaches — and not without good reason. Cockroaches are filthy insects that are implicated in the transmission of serious diseases including dysentery, typhoid, poliomyelitis, gastroenteritis, and other illnesses whose pathogens they pick up on their bodies while walking across filth. Their shed skins and droppings also can trigger asthma and other respiratory problems, and they give off a distinc
  2. Lately, we have received many calls regarding severe ant infestations. Each call has been similar in description, and upon inspection have turned out to be what those in the industry know as "odorous house ants". These guy are infesting in large numbers and invading kitchens and bathrooms in most cases. Ants are always a problem this time of year, but I believe we are seeing extraordinary numbers this year due to the hot dry weather we have experienced over the last couple of weeks. If your considering treating these yourself, be careful with spraying. Spraying will kill the ants that you sp

  6. Lately we have had a flood of calls regarding the "Bald Faced Hornet". These are the black hornets with a white face that build the grayish paper nest in trees shrubs, on the eaves of homes, attached to patio furniture etc. They have "sentries" that constantly fly around the opening of the nest to alert the others of potential danger. These bees are very aggressive, and attack in large numbers when they feel threatened. If you need more information or need help with a problem of this nature, please send us a message. We are still offering 15% OFF Pest Control Related Services and $100 off

  9. After 20 years in the business, I am still amazed what insects can do if left unchecked. I went to a home in Dallas this weekend which had been purchased six months ago as an investment. This homeower called because he saw massive piles of saw dust on his crawl space floor that had not been there a week prior. This saw dust was his floor joists. After a thorough inspection it was discovered that he had a massive nest in the trunk of an old tree about thirty feet from the home, and about ten feet up the tree trunk. This colony had developed a satellite colony within his crawl space and were dis

  11. In tough ecomomic times, we often start looking at things we can cut from the budget. It's important to know what you are facing regarding termites in Georgia. Annually, termites cause more damage than all natural disasters combined including fires, tornados, floods etc. , however, damages are not covered by homeowners policys. Termites work behind the scenes 12 months a year in Georgia eating wood from the inside out. Many homeowners never know they have an issue until they see swarmers flying from their wall. At that point, it's very likely you have had an issue for 3 to 5 years. Termite co

  13. It's been odd season so far. After several years of very mild termite activity, this year has been an exception. I recently had a neighbor in a 3 old home that discovered his whole front door was eaten by termites. Make sure, at minimum your home is inspected by a professional, which you can usually have done for free. At least you'll know if there are any issues which need to be dealt with!!!
