Lucky 64, rumors go around, sorry I do not get on line all the time......a body found in Paulding County, in a close area, wanted to know if anyone knew what happened.... Thanks Boss Hogg for the information.... prayers for the family.... rumors true, just thought it was strange that some one would go to this area and hang theirselves from a tree, and could not understand how they could do it on their own....just a strange situation in a close area....

Crime scene tape, medical examiners, and police in the area of Ivey Gulledge and Colbert Road.... late Friday afternoon, from what I have heard joggers found a person that was hung from a tree in a cul de sac in a undeveloped development? Does anyone know what happened? How does one hang themselves from a tree? I thought there would be something here on this. Has anyone heard what could have happened?

What about the new proposed tax on cigarettes, will it stop there? Why not sodas, alcohol, sugar, bread, etc... we want no new taxes.

We have a good ole boy, a preppie Richardson wanna be, and a citizen who has walked the walk of common people..... too bad we can't combine these three into a candidate... good ole boy could con all, the preppie could introduce new things, and the citizen could make them realize why they were in office and who they should represent...and keep them in line....

NanaPaulding - I guess you have not had any sudvisions in your area, that is a good thing, that is the way the county runs new water lines, in the past anyway..... if the Sheridan crew voted in another of many, many, cluster homes the development had to run water lines, if you were in their path, you got county water... Please advise where do you get your well water tested? I would like to do this since we have growth around us.

hurstsg - So what did bring your to Paulding County? Did you vote for Sheridan in the past, if so then you know all your money went to his plans...
If I as a parent was needing to get vaccines for my kids the first place I would look was my ped office, if I did not have insruance then I would start contacting the health department, certain drug stores, etc.... the vaccine you are looking for is very slow in coming no matter where you live.
Did you not see the news where a pregant school teacher was looking everywhere for it.... no we do not have automated responses for every call made.
Yes we are behind the times in some things, past polotics... the health department is under the county sure, but run by the state... so complain to them.. and again you moved to Paulidng for what reason?

i will tell my son i laws' family, his uni - climate controlled, was flooded, see the stoe pics on Hwy 92, he stuff for the most part survived ,but if people don't come in and clear out their units, the mold will grow....

Pubby right behind this gas station is a climate control strorage unit... a lot of our guys from around here had thier things stored while serving in Afgahinstan, well this place flooded, some units worse than others...... family members had to go yesterday and clean out his storage unit, it was not as bad as some others, but everything they own, is in there..... there are a lot of national guard people's goods stored there..... it is really bad..... they are in Afganistan serving their country, and their stuff is ruined..... they picked it becuse it was climate controlled, but the flood did bad damage...some lost all they owned.
If everyone does not come to clean out their areas, the mold will just grow.. They move some things to a dry areae, some things here, there and other areas, but this was sad, he is serving his country, and everything he owns is under question, and he can not do anything about it, but rely on his family cause he is in Afganistan...... everything need to be dried out, family memebers haulded a lot out to try to dry out, but this is a sad situation, he saw this on the news on the internet, but he can do nothing about it..... everything need to be dried out... it is all he owns, and a lot others....it is a sad situation, he can do nothing, but it is all they own in the world, they need to keep their mind on their duty on not what is going on over here.
They put things in a dry storage, but they will have to watch it, cause if it does not dry out they will loose everything.... don't know what else to do,
pray these soldiers don't return after serving with out anything to start their lives with..........

Are the school closings due to the boil water issue, the roads or what, I know my grandson wants to go back to school, it has upset his schedule....

Thanks Goober, but if people do not get on this site, I wonder how they will know there is a boil water issue, I don't have tv now, so I don't know if it is on the news or not... thanks for the info, we have well wate, so hoping we are safe.

Thanks Pubby. rumors are abound, espically at the grocery store you hear clerks and patrons talking about water being shut off, these stores have sold a lot of water, of course with the boil water issue, that helps too, but rumors are abound, thanks

I am sorry that people got laid off, but it is happening all over the state and country....police and fire are running with small forces in many, many counties.
Sherdian left us with a bundle of debt.... at lot the voters put on their selves.... but the new courthouse complex was not put up for a vote, it was just put upon us, thanks Sheridian, and you did not even get to move in it, karma is karma. I my opinion, he wasted a lot of our hard earned money, it took years for some to see this..... that is their fault.
My property taxes have more than tripled over a 10 year period.... this was wrong also..... tax assessement until this year have steadily gone up, thanks again to Sheridan letting the developers take over our county......
I am sorry, but I can't take anymore property tax increases..... after so much you can't afford to live on your own land...I don't want any more property tax increases... we worked hard for what we have and we woiuld like to keep it.
Sorry, but all are in this. A lot of people all over the country have been laid off, a lot have lost their homes, most police and other county, and general employees will not get a raise this year, yet the cost of living is going up.....most everyone now feels the pain....
My property tax assessment went down over $40 thousand dollars this year, so my property taxes should be lower this year, I pray.
Every county has had to cut their costs, downsize, my popo husband can't even get new uniforms... this is costing us all, but we will just have to dig in and endure, tighten our belts and do with out a little more....
Sorry pubby, but I know in all governments there is a lot of waste, and they have to do what they have to do... I can't afford more taxes now, and I don't think most people can......
We all can do with a lot less, and we will have to.... if you don't have to you are fornuate now.
