As far as I know, people who may have ancestors that came from Africa yet are American will totally become offended if refered to as "colored" in this age. I see the NAACP as totally irrelevant for advancing anything but will inhibit any growth what so ever with the stupidity that was shown in the response to the cartoon. I guess they (NAACP) think that Obama IS a monkey if they were the ones to say it was about him.
Is the cartoon offensive??? Maybe to ASPCA or any other animal rights group. I think monkeys could do a sight better at a stimulus plan that congress has.
