  1. This is a supposedly true story, indicating how fascinating the mind of a

six year old is. They think so logically.

A teacher was reading the story of the Three Little Pigs to her class.

She came to the part of the story where the first pig was trying to gather the building materials for his home.

She read, "......and so the pig went up to the man with the wheelbarrow full of straw and said: 'Pardon me sir, but may I have some of that straw to build my house?"

The teacher paused then asked the class: "And what do you think the man said?"

One little boy raised his hand and said very matter-of-factly, "I think the man would have said: "Well, f**k me! A talking pig!""

The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes.

  2. Just like any good leader should do. Taking the blame for the screw ups of those under him. Just like I have to do when one of my employees screws up, ultimately it is my fault for not smacking him in the head when he needed to be.

There was fault all the way from the bottom to the top. I see Bush is man enough to admit fault, unlike the idiots running the show in Louisianna.

  3. Pubby, your wasting your time, ntheno obviously does not have the mental capability to understand.

But along the same lines, I have made this observation. You will not allow ntheno to voice his opinion on this particular dealership which he had a bad experience with, as rediculous as it is, but yet you allow people on here to bad mouth restaraunts every day. Why is that? Because the dealership has more money than the restaurants and can cause more damage? Is their potential advertising not important to you also?

Seems what is good for one is good for all. Just an opinion.

  4. We did the 8 day southern last year on the Carnival Spirit and loved it. The next time I do southern it will be a 12 or 14 day. We love barbados and met a guy there who took us all over the island, 4 hours for $70.-. he took us shopping and we even met his family. I got his email and phone # for next time. he rents houses also and can get  us a house for 1 month, $350.- !

That is the great thing about going into these ports and doing things. NEVER buy trips from the cruise line unless it is something specific you want to do. (I know you know this, just info for others) You can get off of the ship and grab a cab and the cabbie will take you to do the same things for a lot less money. Probably even see the tour groups from the ship who paid too much.

The first time we went to St. Croix we bought the Cruzan Rum tour from the ship. About $80 per person. The next time we went with friends and they wanted to see it, so we just grabbed a cab and told him what we wanted to do. He took us to the distillery and toured the island, even stopped at a bar or 2 and had drinks, plus got to see the beer drinking pig! Charged us about $100 for all 4 of us. We did this on each island we went to and saved a ton of money.

  5. Can't speak for Exodus, the basic idea was theirs. But you don't owe me anything. Just glad I could help out some. Maybe you'll remember me when you need something that my company does.

Contact me through PM and I can send you the files for print in whatever format you may need.

  6. Love all the places you mentioned but I would have to say my favorite was St. Lucia. If you have never been to the southern Carribean, go there.

Princess is nice, but it seems to be a more laid back, older crowd. Which is OK if that is what your looking for. Carnival definately has a better party, fun atmosphere while also having tons of stuff to do for the kids.

We went on Norwegian one time, man it was hard to navigate the ship because of all the wheelchairs and walkers. The late seating dinner was always empty though.
