Hello
I have a fairly new fireplace insert that has a blower. It is small unit and will fit in the new prefab fireplaces of new homes. depending on the size and lay out of your homw it could heat your whole house. I paid $2,500 new asking $500. I was able to cut meat heating bill more than half when i used it. I move to a home that already has an insert in the fireplace.
Thanks

Other Ballot initaitives, Where can I can the result? Such as sales tax bill Etc.....

Lord knows we tried to give but I guess we just could not find ther right A## to kiss. We even tried bringing in a straw developer. That did not work. We filed law suits, heck you name it, we tried it. A
Also you need to consider the ones that were pulled and never voted on. There is a 99% chance that the owner/developer got wind up stream that it was not goes to pass and pull it so that it would limit the oppertunity for the owner to rezone in future 12 month period. I know that the second tract of land on Bob Hauntin rd off Nebo did this. Its over 200 acres only half is rezoned.

I knew that you would not check out the facts, No wonder the School board spends tax dollars so un Wisely.
Have you ever thought of doing a little research before casting your vote at the School Board meetings, to save us taxpayers some Tax Dollars and provide more Classrooms, Books, And teachers supplies?
Dang you were elected to Represent the Citizens Of Paulding County, Not to believe every thing That Jerry shearin Spews out of his Mouth
Here are the minutes from the BOC website, Have you never checked the minutes ?
How can a School Board properly project the needs for the School system if they were not aware of what is being approved in the way of New Housing?
Was this left up Solely to The Facility Group That has been indicted in Mississippi, With the School Boards approval to do so?

Around the same time, there was an "outsider" [i.e. Not one of the local ROBBER BARON MEGA DEVELOPERS] who bought the Elsberry Mountain property, including the old junkyard which fronted on Bobo Road.
His plans called for a park on the top of the mountain to be donated to the county which would have encompassed all the stone earthworks erected by the Confederate army prior to the battles which took place in Paulding in May of 1864. These trenchlines and stone walls, canon pits, etc. are some of the best preserved in the country.
The developer was going to pay to pave a road to the top, with a cul-de-sac large enough for a school bus to turn around, and erect bathrooms as well.
His PRD was turned down. For various reasons, most of which made no sense. The primary issue was to protect what was left of Bobby Dodd lake which recieves most of the waterflow, and the lake had already been heavily silted by a development done by some of our local RBMDs and was still in the process of clean up as per the State EPD. This new project which included Elsberry Mountain was a mile or more further upstream.
Last I heard, the developer was going forward with his subdivision, but as an R2 instead of a PRD, so there would be no land donated, no park, and the top of the mountain would be private property.....the back yards of the houses which would be on half acre or larger lots.
And the stone earthworks would be in the backyards for these houses, where they would be for the most part totally destroyed. There would be no means to stop the people buying the houses from removing the stones and using them for patios, fireplaces, etc.
A loss big time history wise for Paulding.
There have been many developments turned down by our BOC.
Get your facts straigh Quiettype, or shut up.
AMEN !!!!!!! I must inqure I think Jeanie Tibbets property off Macland was turned down after there divorce.

Someone else stated the 75% and I agreed with them. I don't have my references for this statistic but I have been told that by several employment recruitment agencies in the past. I just recalled it when someone else brought it up initially.
I don't have a link to the development thing, I'm sure its out there, but I know all the commissioners in this county and a few in other counties and they have told me that they cannot legally turn a development down. So I'm not going to spend my time digging up the information to prove that to anyone because ultimately it doesn't matter. I started on these threads to post my opinions, but apparently the people on this website that just agree with them.
You are full of so much BS !! Look up the the history on the NEW White Oak park on Mustang DR it was turned down twice for rezoning. Ask Pubby he may still have the PDF zoning plans, better yet got to www.Paulding.gov and look it it up in minutes of past commissioner meeting. It was going to be called Wellington Lakes . But to get on here a say it does not matter and your not going to look up the truth under your nose is rediculus. Jerry and his crew obvivios had it in there mind what the ultimatley wanted the properly to become. Take the time to research it We offered a major sewer line, a 20 acre school site, and get this $500 per lot to the school system. To boldy say something does not matter because someone told you so is crazy, I guess you would believe me if I told you the sky was falling.

My partners and I have this 187 acre property on Lake Hartwell. There is no water at our property at this time, but swimming and other activites are very close by. You have a can tent camp for $25.00 a night or if the house is available check the listing below for details. Also taking reservation for Hunting season.

It is against the LAW for them to turn down any development in the county. All they can do is raise the requirements for building.
If thats true then why was ours turned down 3 times for rezoning. Take the beloved White Oak Park, look up the history of that property in the last 36 months. It was up for rezoning twice and denied. The county said because of no sewer, but Mr Austins and many other developments were approved with no sewer in place. HMMM.
-
All I want to say if Mr Austins development was so bad for the county, why did'nt Mr. Shearin due his civic duty and deny the rezoning of this development. Instead he allowed it to be rezoned. All this was on his watch. I mean that would have been that right thing to do. He had no problem denying ours and we offered the county much more.
-
Did you not get the tube in the mail with the plan for his development? The LARGEST development going in Paulding right now.
This is land that was owed by there family many years, and they simply rezoned as allowed by law for investment purposes. Simply rezoning something does not make you developer. As far as sewer, all the developmets in that sewer basin had to contribute for there portion of sewer exspense as stated in there zoning conditions. The county(Shearin) renigged on there develper aggreements to provide the 48" trunk line to support these developments. Check with water and sewer to suppoet this.

I would like to know if anyone on here uses Metro PCS and what their experience has been with that particular mobile phone carrier?
I am seriously thinking of changing carriers and wanted to see what people thought of this company's service.
I use it for my business it does very well. A couple weak spots around here. It has pretty good coverage over all. I can take it up to Calhoun and have way to Rockmart. They have a $50 umlimited everything and its really $50.00. They do not send a paper bill but text one to you. If the bill is not paid on time the phone will shut off. The sound quality is good but not as good as the big carriers. Depending on your phone useage will determine the caliber of phone. I use mine alot and I wore out the cheap one pretty quick.

As Some may remember, my wife and owned OH SO Cute. She now operates out of our home selling on line and consignment sales. She is looking for good, clean clothing to buy. If you have or know of any please give us a call. We prefer to buy brand names and not Wal-mart and Target brands but would consider if in good condition.
Thanks

Spoke with owners today confirmed sale of property to Martin Luther King Rehabilitation Center. Future use not confirmed, but name of buyer would suggest some kind of intervention or rehab compound. Just thought I would let you know.

I searched and searched and never saw anywhere that BT said that.
Correct, brick is not the only high quality building exterior, but at least in my book, it's one of the best. Strong, easy maintance, good resale value, and pleasing to the eye.
I could not agree with you more, If you look around at all brick homes, they look as good as the day they were built. At most pressure wash off some dirt and paint the trim and your done.
