  1. Okay so we went to sleep talking about our dinner and we have woken up talking about our dinner! I've NEVER fixed a meal that got that much attention!! :p

If you haven't tried Cheffy's food, YOU HAVE MISSED OUT, don't wait any longer, pm her and let her know what you want and when you want it and YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! I'm thinking I might see about giving my new homeowners a gift certificate for Cheffy, so that they can get a wondeful meal while they are moving into their home....Cheffy, I'll talk to you about this idea later!!!

:p look on my face since I didn't have to cook last night

 way we feel about Cheffy

:yahoo: way I feel since I'm going to get to use Cheffy again soon!

:good: what I will do when you decide to order from Cheffy

:clapping: what I'll be doing when I'm waiting for my next meal from Cheffy.

    :drinks: Here's to you cheffy!!

Have a wonderful day everyone!!! 8)

  2. Is it really necessary for you to be such an a$$ all of the time???

It's the only way they get attention! My momma always said ignore them and they will go away, the more we talk about it the happier it is probably making them!! ;)

I really enjoyed my meal and now have eaten some of the Choc. Cake...there is only one word for it, HEAVENLY!

Cheffy rocks and I think she knows it now, with all of our support!!!

    WE LOVE YOU CHEFFY!!!

  3. Well, even though I cooked dinner tonite, if I say so myself it was very good. Meatloaf, fried okra and squash (from our garden), pinto beans, mashed potatoes and homemade biscuits (sliced tomato and onions)

    Fruit for dessert.

Tomorrow, we have left overs, Momma ain't cooking.

Chevyfamily, I would love to have had time to prepare a great meal for my family like the one you did for yours! Like my daughter said, you can't beat fresh veggies...especially ones you grew!! Your meal sounds terrific, I tell ya, we have enough left over for dinner tomorrow night, if you want to mix it up a little bit, we could trade left overs! We might have to negotiate on the collards though...I won't give them up very easily!!!

  4. No, I am not jealous one bit!!! She is cooking dinner for my family tonight, too. :D But, we are getting yesterday's menu with the cornish hens, red potatoes with onions, fried cabbage and coconut cake. YYYYYYYYUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am SOOOOOO excited and cannot wait!!!!! She is a sweetheart and a lifesaver. My poor husband has had to take over all the household responsibilities (PLUS work full time and drive back & forth to Buckhead) since my two strokes so I am surprising him with an awesome home cooked dinner tonight. And, Coconut cake just happens to be his most favorite in the world!!! THANK YOU Cheffy!!!!

Edited to add: BTW, I AM NOT LAZY, Just cannot see to cook like I used to before May 28th, 2008 and two strokes. So, I am grateful for the services Cheffy offers!!!!!!

Bless your heart 3nascar8. I hope, no I know your hubby was thrilled with your surprise! If you meal was even 1/2 as good as mine it was fabulous! If you ever need any help (someone to run to the store for you) just pm me and if I can do it I will be more than happy to help out! That's what pcommers do for each other!! Your meal does sound fantastic, I will definitely be ordering from Cheffy again VERY SOON!! Take care of yourself and please let me know if I can help you in anyway!

  5. OMG!!! This was a fabulous meal. Sorry it took me so long to post, I wanted to savor every bite!! Here are the pictures I promised

    beforedinner.jpg

Before I took my first bite....actually that is not true, I had my first bite at Cheffy's....she let me try the collards!

I'm sure that Cheffy would have plated this meal much prettier than I did, but it was fabulous just the same! The boneless chicken breast, the fluffy white rice, the rich suculant gravy, the slap your momma collards and the terrific corn bread were delicious. The collards were the best I have every tasted!!! But everything was wonderful!!

I'll be called lazy any day to eat like this!!

    afterdinner.jpg

Honest to goodness, this is my plate after I ate...I am about to bust!!

    TripleChocCake.jpg

This is the Triple Chocolate Cake that we will be slicing into as soon as we have a little more room in our bellies!!

Cheffy, you are the BOMB =@ DIGGITY!!! Where have you been all of my life. It was truly a pleasure to meet you, Courtney (hope I spelled it correctly) and Brownie, you guys are an awesome family!! I will bring the crate to you on Thursday and I would love for you to take it with my compliments. We don't need it and I feel it is the least I can do after all that you have done for us today! :drinks: Here's to you Cheffy!! Thank you again!!

  6. That was not nice ..

Some people! I don't let it bother me! Thanks for the support though! Those who know me know I'm not lazy, but I do like to support our local economy!! I'm leaving WORK now to go get my food. I'll post a picture later!! Thanks again Gleemp!!

  7. Who knew a Cheeto...I mean a Cheesus would keep in a safety deposit box? I figured it would get stale!!

I'm with you lovemuppet and Beasley Hardwoods...I honestly can't say I've ever examined my Cheetos before I consumed them!! I'm usually too busy driving down the road while woofing down my lunch!! :p

I guess it is a slow news day!!

  8. What wigs me out is that where Pet Showcase use to be is now where Hai Hai is. Can't bring myself to eat there knowing that. :nea: I'm sure they cleaned up the place very well, but just can't stand the thought! Sorry Hai Hai!

Petshowcase is open further down in the same strip...you are right ScarlettHeart.

  9. lovemuppet...call Craig Lebhaft with Milestone Mortgage. If he can't do it, he can probably tell you how can. Good luck! Wish you were buying one of our houses!!! :p

It might be nice if I gave you his contact info... 770-652-7150 or clebhaft@milestone-mortgage.net

  10. Can someone please tell me where to get my license renewed? Is it still at the Dallas library and if so when?

Nope, can't get it there any more. If you got a notification in the mail, it should tell you how you can do it online, if not you can go to Canton Hwy, Carrollton, or County Services Road (I think) in Cobb...near the fair grounds. The lines are usually VERY long there, so go early. We got my DD license in April in Carrollton, very small line...it was great! Hope this helps!

  11. Only 2 hours and 40 minutes until I get my food!! :p I feel like a kid trying to sleep on Christmas Eve!!! Time can't pass fast enough....I know I shouldn't be wishing my life away!!

TugboatsMom - She said she's cooking for some other pcommers...are you one of the lucky ones?

I'll take a picture and let you all see what we get to partake in tonight!!

  12. Oh, my bad on the name of the cake!! I knew it had the words Triple, Chocolate and Cake...so any combination of those words works for me!! Thank you! I'm sure Tiff told you I LOVE me some collards!! My DH is kind enough (around the holidays) to cook me some on the cooker outside...so we don't "stink" up the whole house...I love the way they smell...DH not so much!! Thank you!! Don't forget to PM me with your address....or I can let you know where I am off of Old Cartersville, if you want to just drop it off on your way home! Just let me know!! I'm soo excited! :yahoo:

  13. Beach Bum! Congratulations!! You should be proud of your son, but don't forget to pat yourself on the back, he wouldn't have turned out so darned fantastic if he didn't have such a great family!!! You dun good! :D My DH got his MBA from KSU...that is a wonderful school!! Best Wishes to your son and his fiance, may they have a lifetime of love and happiness together!

Congratulations to you for a job well done!! :good:

  14. I am sooo excited!! Cheffy is cookin' dinner for my family tonight! :yahoo: I know it will be wonderful, Chicken and rice with collards and yes, Triple Layer Chocolate Cake!! Only 3 hours and 20 minutes until I go to get it!! (She's on my way home from work!!) So when you guys are eating your fast food, non-home cooked meals tonight, just remember, Cheffy could have cooked for you, like she is doing for me!! :D

  15. We did worship-4000 of us=on Sunday night in a way you would not believe unless you were there-powerful stuff. I think it's ridiculous that people are caught up in that piece of this powerful weekend. The only thing I can figure is-you had to be there-there were 250 projects JUST IN PAULDING COUNTY!!!!! And 3000 volunteers!!!! We were 'worshipping' the ENTIRE weekend!

LL - way to go~! It was the most moving service I've EVER attended (I've been going to church for a LONG time!!) even though it was in the Sam's parking lot....the presents of the Lord was surely in that place!! Did you see Pubby? He knelt down in front of us and took some pictures...I'm hoping he will share this week!! We will never know exactly how many people were involved or what all of the projects were, I know at Town and Country mobile home park we started out with 15 projects....after reviewing what needed to be done we ended up with over 50 projects for this one site! I was there when the Devil tried to show his ugly self  ...but we stood strong, got him out of the way and kept on doing God's work!! :yahoo:

I am so happy that Ashton and your family got the much needed wheelchair ramp!! I hope you will feel God's love everytime you use it! It was God's love and God's children that built it for you!!

I'm already stoked for next year!!! BRING IT ON!!!

    Wendy
