I have recently found an old ticket with "Red's Drag Strip, Inc. Dallas Ga". Someone has written a date on the back of Aug 23rd 1959. So far no one I have ask ever remembers it being called "Red's". Since this was further back than I can recall I was wondering if anyone could tell me who the owner was at this time. Iam assuming this is the dragstrip that was on what is now called East Paulding Dr that used to be dragstrip rd. thanks and have a blessed day

Is there a clothing consignment shop in the HIram/Dallas area?

Anybody need acorns for arts and crafts or deer feed??? I got a bumper crop this year...I already have some piled up in 2 big piles and they are still falling. All I ask is a couple of bucks to cover the expense of gas for the blower. You can get ever how many you need or want. Somebody please come get acorns!!!!!!

They have had Old Mill Rd closed for 2 weeks now. The job was suppose to be done by the 12th but obviously they have had a set back and are not finished. If someone that is not familiar with the area is coming down Pace Rd from the Martin's end and is following detour signs they are totally lost and confused. Because the detour sign is pointing down Old Mill Rd that is closed. There have been so many people that have went that way and had to turn around. Then they have no clue which way to go. When they come back up Old Mill from turning around the detour sign is pointing back up Pace Rd towa

My Mom is in need of an arthritis dr closer to home. Her's has moved all the way out to Smyrna...Does anyone have any ideas where there may be a good one around? I did not find any in this area on the computer or in the phone book thanks

Thought you would like to know just how happy she is to have the golf cart fixed. When I came home today she had it parked under the shade tree by the house!!!!!!!!! She had been out checking the garden and her mail!!!!

Subby if you didn't do anything else right today ...you made a 78 yr old lady VERY happy!!!! She is so happy to get her golf cart fixed. If I had of known you could have gotten pics on your phone I would have taken one and sent it to you when she got on it and started riding around. Thanks for coming by and checking out Mom's golf cart!!! It sure didn't take him long to figure out the one problem that we thought would fix it. He didn't charge as much as some other folks quoted me. So if you need any mechanic work done SUBBY is your man. You did fix the one problem but after you left we came across another. So it is still not working. But I do appreciate the time and effort. Not many folks will go out of their way these days to help one another. It is refreshing to find someone like that. I was working in my yard today and all I could think about was those poor helpless people and thinking I bet they just wish they had a yard to work in. Like so many others I feel so helpless. All I know to do is pray for them. Prayer is very powerful and they have a very loooong road ahead of them to recover. They need everything. How do regular folks like us help those that are so far away? I thank You Father for all my blessings from the smallest to the greatest. I've been cleaning houses for 22 yrs and have always used Murphy's oil soap..I know ...I know they tell you not to use it but I have NEVER ruined a hardwood floor with it nor have I ever had an unhappy customer. Use only about a teaspoon to a gallon of water..if you have the time and energy do them a couple of times by hand. You will be amazed at the difference and what you get up off the floor..happy cleaning

Guess I'll never understand why and how some people can take such a wonderful experience and turn it into something so negative. It would do some people good to volunteer for some of these programs just so they could experience the joy, laughter and the spirit of giving. I went to walmart on 120 early this morning. When I first pulled up in the parking lot I thought something bad was wrong. There were cop cars all in the parking lot. Once inside I saw a big long table set up at the front of the store. I had to go back to the garden dept to get some rock salt. AND THERE THEY ALL WERE!!!! All the kids and all the cops. What an awesome sight to see all those big, supposedly tough cops with all the kids!! Needless to say the cops had turned into little loveable teddy bears!!!!
