The new vests and ties are in!
A large number of wedding couples get married in the fall, nowadays. There are some classic fall colors in the collection, like chocolate brown, red and champagne.
Included in this year's fall collection will be a tuxedo vest exclusive to King Tux Rentals - Black Leather! It's a style that looks great with the jacket on or off!

The number one predictor of longevity is genetics.
I agree with Mrs. Howard. That article said that genetics was a 20 percent factor. My observations, though subjective, indicate that the genetic factor is much more of an influence - all other factors being equal. And the fact that an island's population would tend to share many of the same genetic markers seems to bolster the "good genes" theory.
However, those "good genes" may have been refined through many generations of dietary and lifestyle influences.

A lot of people have asked us to sell what we rent. We decided to put on a once-a-year sale and to sell our previously rented tux jackets for $75! Pants are $35.
Tux jackets are designer quality, mostly Tommy Hilfiger and ranging in sizes from 34 (men's extra small) to 52R (Men's XXL)

We're going to have this sale at the end of May every year so that people who are getting married this summer in Vegas, for instance, can have a nice tux for their wedding -- One that they can own!
Look at it this way -- You can buy for a price which is less than the rental price of a designer tux!
The available sizes in these tuxes go from a 34 Short to a 52 Regular.
Since these are closeout items, their availability is "first come, first served".

Yes, that's right - A SALE of our rental jackets - Why such a low price? To make room for new inventory. We just got in our new line of vests and tie combinations and they are beautiful! So, to make room for them and all of the new inventory, we're selling the previously rented (in some cases just a few times!) tuxedo jackets for $75.00. Tux pants are $35.00. There seem to be a lot of funerals lately! We don't want to take advantage of people in dire need of a suit, so under the circumstances, we're offering our suit rental for $79.99 this week.

Janice LaFaye Moody, age 51, of Dallas, passed away on May 16, 2009. She was born on October 31, 1957, in Ludowici, GA, to the late Mr. Charles and Velma Clayton, and was preceded in death by her brother, Lavar Clayton, and special uncle, Perry Wright. Mrs. Moody worked as a Property Manger and was a member of Cochran Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include, husband, Clyde Moody of Dallas; son and daughter-in-law, Dallas & Ivey Gordon of Canton; daughter and son-in-law, Cherease & Brian Kincaid of Covington, GA; brothers, Lavette Clayton of Dallas, and Joey Wright of Richmond Hill, GA; sisters, Laverne Rawson of Clyo, GA, Brenda Clayton of Cartersville, Phyllis Stevens of Seneca, South Carolina, Barbara Loveless of Chatsworth, GA, Van Reid of Pooler, GA, Kandi Padgett of Monroe, North Carolina, and Joey Wright of Richmond Hill, GA; stepchildren, Tammy & Joel Kell of Dallas, Charlene & Billy Graves of Jackson, Mississippi, Clayton & Robbi Moody of Hiram, Clyde & Kelly Moody of Dallas, and Dwayne Moody of Mapleton; special aunt, Marinell Wright; grandchildren, Dalton Saxon, Braden Kincaid, Presley Gordon, Rease Kincaid and Parker Gordon; 4 great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

If you haven't been to C. Mark Willix' Wednesday or Friday night karaoke shows then you're really missing out on a good time. I should add that it's a great dining experience, as well! MacFarlane's is smoke free inside, which I regard as a major plus! There is designated smoking area outside, though.
Try one of their desserts - I had chocolate cake - Triple-Chocolate, I think, yeah - at least triple! It was great.
But back to Mark's karaoke show - It's simply the best. As gracious a host as you'll ever meet! He can sing, as well. If you can't carry a tune in a bucket, it's worth it to enjoy the dining and to hear Mark's version of a few country classics.
MacFarlanes is located in old town Hiram, just off Hwy 92, next to the railroad tracks.
