  1. Denise,

I think about you and your family often, I have not had the pleasure of meeting you but you inspire me just the same. I pray for Ashton and your family every day. May God keep the miracles coming and let you continue to share them with us. It is so special to read about his progress and triumps.

  2. I wanted to let you know that I hope you have a wonderful birthday. And I remember where I was 23 years ago today. I love you honey. You make me proud every day, you are a wonderful mom, wife, sister and daughter. She goes by copswife465 on pcom.

  3. When I named my daughter 23 years ago today her name was never heard, now you hear it everywhere. But I have a 19 yo and I have only heard 1 other boy with his name Warner. He is named after my dad.

  4. Sunday after the snow stopped my DH and DS went to Walgreens to get an ink cartridge refilled. They left there and were headed somewhere else and got pulled over by CC for not having his lights on. He had the running lights on but had failed to flip the switch one more notch. The officer was rude and a smarta$$ to him and my son. He got a ticket, and my son (17yo) said he was polite and apoligized and explained it was just an oversight. Cop didn't want to hear it and again was rude. They can say they don't have a quota, but I just don't believe it.

  5. I had to leave my youngest son in the NICU @ Kennestone almost 18 years ago. It was the hardest thing that I have ever done. It is like leaving your heart there. Please let your daughter know that now is the time to rest as much as possible and he will be home before she knows it. And I think we fall in love with the bundles of joy the first time we see them or even hear their first cry. Good luck and many prayers coming your way.

  6. I have a 17 year old too and I wouldn't even let him drive today.

btw- it was nice to meet you and your daughter!

Nice meeting you also, he has tried to come up with something to do to go out driving. His dad told him if he needed to go somewhere he would take him. They went to CVS a little while ago, and he came back and said thanks mom for not letting me drive today, those people are nuts out there.

  7. May God bless and keep all our men and women in the military out of harms way. My son is in ROTC and he wants to enlist in the Army next year. It scares me but I know that without all the brave men and women of our military we would not be free today. I would just like to say Thank you to all that serve to keep us free.

  8. Ok Mr. Dis, I have also been wanting a carpet cleaner. My hubby found the one I wanted on sale and bought it. Last night (about 9 pm) he decides to put it together. Then he cleans a 3 x 3 foot section. When I ask what he is doing he said testing it out. I tell him you can't just clean a small section and leave it. Look at how it makes the rest of the house look. He said he will clean the rest of the house on Sunday. Yea right. He goes out to the barn to tinker and I end up cleaning the rest of the room. So, if your wanting to know I would have said thank you, and when are you fininshing the rest of the house. BTW, I cleaned the rest of the rooms this morning and my house smells soooo good.

  9. Hey WT, I was just wondering if you had heard anything back from the insurance comm. office about the insurance problem. I am hoping and praying that you can get it all resolved and that you will get the treatments that you deserve. I have had you on my mind for several days and praying for you also. I also like to read what you write, I don't always agree but I still like to hear others opinions. Good luck and God bless.

  10. My prayers are with you and your family. The NICU at Kenneston is one of the best. My youngest son was born 6 weeks early, he weighed in at 6lbs 2oz but his lungs were filled with fluid. He was on a respirator for 4 days and in the NICU for 2 weeks. They were wonderful to him and to us. He was a fighter and on the 4th day of having to re intibate him because he kept flipping his head and pulling it out they decided he wasnt going to cooperate so they left it off and he did great. He is now 17 almost 18 and he is wonderful. It is a very scary time but just remember that God is in control and he see and knows the big picture, and we only see a very small square of his big picture.

  11. I hope so WT, my BIL just got through with radiation treatments. He had tongue cancer, luckily he did not have any problems with his insurance co. in fact he had his treatments at Kennestone also you may have seen him. Anyway, I think the ins. co. will screw around with you just to see if you will fight them on this. I really do hope that you can get something done about this, and I didn't mean to hijack your thread. It seemed really important to get this info to you. Good luck and I really liked the story about this banker. Too bad more are not like him.
