Scarlet, you are so right. Kate and the gang are so wonderful. My husband escapes there every chance he gets. I enjoy just sitting there and smelling the wonderful pipe/cigar smoke. Kate researched and found some really nice things for my husbands birthday last month. My daughter and I both got him stuff from there. In fact, he spent a few hours there today. Love DD and Cigars

And I knew pcom would be the place to look. My husband just got laid off on Tuesday (right on the heels of me getting laid off). He has decided to do what he has been doing for 15 years - now from home. He repairs body shop tools and is pretty good at it too. He was laid off because the company he worked for is restructering and they moved a few shops together into one building. In doing this, they moved all the employees including managers. Tommorrow will just be the above. We'll have the meat and veggies on Friday. Fried chicken and then the veggies. We just thought tomorrow it would be better to do the soups for such a cold day.

We are having a few specials on Thursday- 1. grilled cheese sandwich and fresh homemade chicken noodle soup -$4.00 2. chicken salad sandwich and french fries - $4.50 And then there is always the veggie soup or chili with cornbread - $3.50 These should help to warm anyone up that has to be out in the f-f-f-freezing cold tomorrow. I dread the cold, but I wish we would have alittle precipitation with this coldness. then we can go ahead and change to spring.

Meat Loaf is our special for Wednesday We'll be having slaw, some type of potato, and a few veggies to choose from. Today was kind of crazy, so Kathy will plan for the veggies in the morning. The City busted a water pipe behind the cafe, so from about 11:00 we didn't have any water. After contacting the water dept, and checking with the workers (they said it would be a few hours) we closed early. I apologize for anyone that came by. We posted a note on the door. So in the morning, we get to go in and wash any dishes that we had used between 10:30 and closing. So that sho

I am not sure about the vegetables, but we will have a potato, a bean, possibly greens, cole slaw, or salad and a dessert, and your tea your meat and 1 veggie - $5.50 meat w/ 2 veggies = $6.00 meat w/ 3 veggies - $6.50 we also have chili, hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers, salads.
