    How early and how late?

  2. I found a beautiful stray while hiking. It looked like someone's lost pet that was loved. I took her home, and posted signs, but no calls. We were going to keep her, but she didn't get along with my other kitties (One was my adult cat "Jessie" now named "Princess" adopted in March from the animal shelter). It broke my heart, but I took her in hoping she had a chip or her owners would come for her. If anyone is looking for a sweet adult cat who is declawed (and must be an ONLY animal), she is still there :-( I bawled dropping her off even though she was just a stray!

  3. I can see the posters now... pwoplw dressed as chickens with posters saying.... Eat more cow

OMG! That was the same Fat @ss that came out and turned cars away in line on Wed night! I was in line with my kids at the drive through, and he was saying that all the coupons were not valid, even though we got them from the Oprah site! He said that the Dallas Ga location could not take the coupons, and he was a Jerk about it! Made me feel like a total loser trying to use a free coupon.....and added "Doesn't look like you need free food, you have a new Acura" and moved onto the next car behind us to turn them away!

  4. Get the book The Host by Stephanie Meyer. It is not one of her vampire movies but it is a good book. I really enjoyed it. In fact I think I may have liked it better than the Twilight series. It's a little more for the grown ups. She has quite an imagination.

I bought that book last night! I LOVED all the Twilight books (the last one a little bit less) ....and I cannot wait to read this book! I didn't like the movie when I 1st saw it in November, but I found myself enjoying it on DVD!

  5. My kids, 13, 11 and 8, keep walking around my house with dig cameras looking for Orbs. My 2 Boys (13 and 8) grew up in California until a few years back..we don't have civil war stories or too many ghosts. I'm looking for ideas to take them with their dig cameras to get orbs. LEGAL places that are suppose to be haunted. They like ghost stories. So far we have Marietta square and the Kennesaw House.

    Ant other legal ideas?

    Thanks!

  6. She said she can't help!! So I don't know what to do I may have to take them to the animal shelter. Please if anyone here knows anyone who wants them please let me know.

What kind/sex/ages are they? Are the good with older Kids, other cats, and a brain dead dog?

  7. I love Adam! He looks just like Chad Reed (google him, Dirt Bike Rider, yummy!) but Gay!

I'm sure he would be a fun shopping friend!

Below Older pic of Chad Reed with my now Teen in an ad....

  8. I have a soon to be 13 year old boy. His room needs a makeover. When we moved in our home about 5 years ago we painted it half blue and half gray with a truck border in the middle. He loved it for about a year and he outgrew it. Now he needs it repainted and his suggestions are black. He is not emo (or what ever you call it) He just wants it black with designs on it. There is no way I am painting a room black. Can you imagine how long it would take to primer it when he doesn't want black anymore?

I want to surprise him with a new room but don't know where to start. He is not a sports kid so painting it sports team colors is out of the question. I have googled everything and only can come up with little kid stuff. Any suggestions?

When my Step Daughter moved in last year, and my 2 boys had to share a room the 13 year old demanded a black room (as if!) I painted the room grey (Let him pick the shade) and actually ordered a grey and black bed set for each boy from walmart online! They both have Full silver metal loft beds, that have desks built in below. They have a whole little room under their beds. Computer, Playstation, with 2 chairs to relax in.

Grey is awesome, black is just too much! Ask him to help you pick things out, they like being tricked into thinking they have a say in their lives (and rooms!)...

  9. I live in there and saw him with his bike and felt at the time he just got a scrape as I did a kid and had plenty of those in my day. I was at a neighbors house and then he and the other kids disappeared and a house was blocking my view from where rescue showed up. I did not know it was that serious until the EMTs arrived. After seeing the pic, it was worse than I had thought.

I wish I knew it was bad as I would have come by as I have a road emergency kit in my car. Sorry that I didn't. Forgive me on that.

Are you the ones at the Split Foyer? Or around the corner?

We are the single story (Corner House) on Natalie with the Black Volvo :-) I wish it wasn't serious, it was my Step Daughter's Birthday last night and we had to spend it in the ER!

  10. So glad he is OK, and YOU, knowing your child was hurt your drive could have been really bad, glad you didnt drive like a crazy person!!

Folks, dont blast her for posting the pics use them to educate YOUR kids on just how quickly things can happen and how impotrtant it is that they follow the rules!! Graphic YES but so is LIFE. Trust me my 10 and 12 yr old will be seeing these pictures.....

Thanks! Not trying to gross people out, but that is JUST a BIKE accident! And to the person that PMed me, yes, it was THAT subdivision! Thanks if you were a neighbor or 911 Person at my house!

I Can't seem to respond to my PM! Thanks soooooo much if you were one of the people that helped my Son! God Bless

  11. OMG!! That looks horrible.

I would hope my kids know to call 911. I guess I need to double check. Mine are 10, 13, and almost 17. The youngest is home about 30 minutes before me. The others about 30 minutes after me.

They were outside just looking at him frozen! I can't believe the 11 year old just froze! Thank Goodness the neighbors heard him! Freaks me out totally, but there is not daycare for a 13 and 11 year old!

  12. My Kids, 13, 11 and 8 get home a hour before I do 3 days a week, and my 13 year old babysits. They are not suppose to go outside until I'm home. Yesterday I got a frantic call from my neighbor that my 13 had an accident, they couldn't stop the bleeding, and 911 and help was on the way. Of course I freaked out stuck in traffic in Marietta!

13 year old went outside, came down a hill on his bike, popped a wheelie, and ate it. We (he) thinks the bike hit his leg and ripped it open about 3 houses away on the street from mine.

He tried to get home to call us, but dropped from pain in our back sidewalk area. He saw the blood and started screaming for help. The neighbors were great, they stopped his bleeding (ALL OVER THE SIDEWALK, drenched) and called 911. 911 came, and bandaged him up, and were getting ready to start IV and transport before my ex husband showed up and took him to Paulding. (Stupid ex!)... Paulding was a nightmare. 4 hour wait to even get in triage, so I rushed him to Cobb Wellstar Ped ER. They got him right in. About (I stopped counting at 150 stitches and 4 layers of stiches later) he is doing okay and on a lot of meds. Thank GOD it didn't hit a major vein, it came close to going through all the muscle! It cut the flesh, and just scraped the muscle (we are blessed).

My 2 younger kids, 11 and 8, have a list of numbers on our fridge and they KNOW our numbers. They freaked out so bad, they froze and forgot numbers. Tonight I'm going over numbers again. Besides the accident, it freaks me that they forgot numbers or to call! Thank God again our neighbors had our numbers!

  13. I am glad you found her!!!, I was just going to post that I saw her Mon., saw her vet tag but could not get to her. She definately looked out of her element.

Awww, thanks! We thought a Hawk may have got her! I cried for a week straight over it! I'm still wondering if someone took her, then just dumped her out! Poor little Puppy, she is still freaked out! I'm just glad someone caught her finally! Thanks for trying to help her, and thanks to all for the well wishes!

  14. Tinkerbelle was found. Same subdivision that my ex lives in (It is BIG) but way, way far away from his house. A Family had been trying to trap her for a week, she was starving to death. They finally trapped her, and called her vet (Off her rabies tag). They then called the ex. Wondering how she got out, and survived for 2 weeks in the cold. Just glad to have her home!
