  1. My husband is diabetic and his vials were also over $300. His doctor told him walmart sells their own insulin it's called Novolin R (rapid) & Novolin N (long for night). They sell for $27.99. It is truly a lifesaver!! Call your doctor and see if you can take it. You don't even need a prescription for them!!!! Please let me know if this helps.

    Wow...that's a huge difference!!

  2. Www. Ibmsecu.org

they are hiring a member service representative. 40 hours a week, mon-Fri, holidays off, 401k, health benefits and more..

I think they are hiring for the windy hill Rd location. I know transportation is an issue but if there is any way you can make it work, and it's certainly something to think about.

  3. And at 29 and 31 the only place that would consider taking you is the army. At least that is what they told me.

For active duty yes, but I think you can still sign up for the Air Force reserves until you are 34 and do the one weekend a month training but you most likely will not get a sign on bonus for that. And then you can continue your civilian job or apply for an Air Force job depending on what field you are in.....that is how my coworker explained it to me anyway (she's in the AF)

  4. Send Hubby to This website.

I heard about it on the radio the other day but I didn't quite get all the details. If he has any construction or trade job experience, maybe this site will be helpful.

I also agree with what Riograce said.....I'm almost 29 and Hubby is 31 and we've still considered the military. You get a sign on bonus for many positions, and could possibly recieve an allowance for housing, childcare, and cheap cheap health insurance. There is an Army and Marine recruiting center in Hiram and an Army and Airforce recruting center at Dobbins AFB I believe.

It's a BIG decision, but could really turn your lives around. My cousin and her hubby are in the Airforce and currently stationed in Japan. I think it's an amazing opportunity for her children to live and go to school overseas.

  5. But aren't all funeral directors that way, I know all of that we have in Paulding are. That is their job.

He is the only one I've dealt with in family matters, but I have heard horror stories from friends and coworkers about less than compassionate treatment from their funeral directors.

  6. Just got my email of denial from Wellstar. :(

I do have a 'working' interview coming up with a dog kennel, I hope I do well.

Internet is due off anyday now (they already cut the cable) so if I disappear for a while, that's what happened.

I have a friend that works for Wellstar. I *think* they are in a hiring freeze. Not 100% if that is still in effect, but I know it was not too long ago.

  7.

I will have to check it out. I actually used to work in Marietta.

Isn't this down the East West Connector a bit?

That one is Lockheed Credit Union. This one is near the Marietta square. Just past it actually. Go through the square, cross over Fairground st. and it's on your left before you reach 41.

I'll have to bring my boys this weekend! This is the first I have heard of the restaurant and I'm excited to try it ;)

  9. My coworker was telling me about how she has been subing ground meat with meatless crumbles, and how good it is.

I was just curious if anyone else has tried this and liked it. I was thinking about picking some up tonight and trying them, and wanted to some feed back first.

  10. Don't have mine yet .

But I got an income tax return , and I went to the court house to see if I could pay towards my house taxes. I had atleast half .

    I was told I couldn't . I have to wait until November .

I'm so worried I'll spend that money before then

put it in a 6 month certificate at your bank or credit union.

  11. How about manual labor, like raking yards, painting fences, etc?

There are a lot of yards and fences out there that need it!

that's a good idea, at least until he finds something else. He can print up signs and take them door to door. a couple kids in my neck of the woods do this. They give their names and a list of what they can do (rake, mow, weed eat, etc...) and phone number.

  12. I'm surprised "that" kind of store would come to Hiram. I suspect the elected officials aren't too happy about it, but I'm not sure what they could do to stop it. It's disgusting to me and won't be going there.

Next thing you know, we'll have a Boomers style nightclub. Sick.

why is it disgusting? There aren't a bunch of naked hookers sleeping with the customers or anything. Places like that don't typically stream porn on plasma tv's while you shop. It's a store, just like any other except they cater to your bedroom pleasures and dont sell to kids.
