Just updated our profile pic in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I wanted to mention that normally our studio is closed on Mondays, but for the fall & winter, we will be working by appointment only on Mondays. This does not mean we will be keeping our regular business hours on Mondays though, so please don’t swing by and be disappointed if we aren’t there. A few weeks or so ago I posted an outline of a large geisha tattoo that I had started. Well we had a second session that took 4 hours. We still aren't finished but I got a healed photo of it yesterday so I wanted to share because a few of you asked to see it. We still have to add more color & detail to her fan as well as cover-up the tiny tattoo below her with some cherry blossom branches. I thought I would share a few of the tattoos I did over the weekend. Our season is starting to kick back in and I am excited to be working so hard! I was eager to begin this phoenix backpiece last night. I worked on it for almost three hours before finding a good stopping point. I still need to outline a few of the feathers and flames. This piece is going to be black & grey. The plan is to get back to work on it in two weeks ... Thanks for checking it out, Sage~

Here is a tattoo I began this afternoon. It took 2 1/2 hours to outline. It is going to be a beautiful & colorful geisha when we finish up with it! The plan is to start coloring it in about two weeks. I am definitely looking forward to that! Enjoy, Sage~

I tattooed the wonderful kelwil on Saturday!! She already had some portraits and an owl on her back. I began a black and grey tree. The tree is not completely finished. We left the tops of the branches open because she is going to add more portraits to the tree. Kelwil sat for 3 1/2 hours Sage~
