  1. At what time did this happen. I was in that area last night to. I didn't see anything. Just wondering what time this happened. I am very glad to her your daughter will be fine. As far as the DD I hope they throw the book at him/her.

  2. I just got off the phone with him again. He is not sure if they have the person with the gun. My son said that he left in a car. He said the color but I am not going to say at this time. He also has the name. He told me again that they will not let me pick him up yet. I told him that if I have not heard from him in 30 minutes I was driving up to the school. Does anyone else have any kids at the school that plays football?

  3. My son just called and said he is locked in the varsity locker room with the football coaches. He said that 3 boys took a girl into the locker room and a fight broke out and there was someone with a gun. He said he was fine and he had to go the coaches wanted to talk to them. He is a freshman football player. I am in a panic. He said if I come up there they will not let me in to grt him. I think I am leaving to go up there anyway. I am waiting for him to call me back as soon as the coaches get through talking to them.

  4. Adhd children can be well behaved. I have 2 boys anda girl. The oldest boy is on adderall. He gives me a run for my money. At school he is very well behaved. He only takes his adderall only when he is in school. The weekends and summer months he does not take it. His Dr. knows this and says it is fine. I am the one who has to deal with him. He is now 15. He really only has the attention part of ADHD. The signs that I had with him was not focused at school not staying on task. At 15 I still have to redierct him. He is very forgetful. He makes decent grades in school I did hold him back in the second grade. He was struggling so that I did not want him to go on because 3rd grade is a hard grade. He was not on grade level either. That was the best thing I could have ever done for him. When I started seeing these signs I spoke with his teacher about it. She started watching him closely and she was seeing the same things at school that I saw at home. He was tested by the school physcoligist. I had a meeting with her when she was done and she gave me all of the paperwork on everything she had tested him on. I in return found a phycitrist to take him to and he went over everything with me and we decided to try meds. I posted in the other post. He has tried other ADHD meds and adderall works great for him. I can tell that he has not had his meds on the weekends and summer months but he has been dealing with this for a while that he has learned how to try and stay focused as much as he can. He is a twin and his sister does not have this. He has always been very dependent on his sister and holding him back helped him greatly. Now he seem sto have more confidence due to she is in a grade higher than him and she not there to guide him in the right direction. He does so many things on his own now. It took a little while for him to get to this point. In my opinion he will take his meds until he feels like he has become an adult and he can make his own decisions.

  5. My step dad was diagnosed with colon cancer in 1998. Once they did the surgery they found that it was on his liver also. Since then it has matastasized(sp) to his lung. He went through the NIH hospital in Bethesda Maryland. He just had his 68th birthday the 15 of this month. He still takes care of his yard and does his gardening, he fishes, go to Flordia. Basically you would not know he was sick. He does have bad days that he stays in the bed, but he still has alot of good days to. So keep your head up. I will pray for you and your dad.

  6. I have twins that are 15. So I can say it does get better in some ways and harder in others.

When my daughter was a baby she took her diaper off and painted the poop all over her

twin brother. We still kid them both about this. Hang in there I promise you it does get easier.

  7. Not trying to hijack your thread but I have a issue and don't know what to do. I have a female dog that has been spayed. Just this past week my male dogs will not leave her alone. They act as though she is in heat. She is not. My 40lb dog atacked my 6 lb chi chi. Saturday. Thanks to my son and husband they were able to break it up. He was swinging my baby around like a rag doll. I have since had to tie the bigger dog up due to the chi chi would not go outside. I hope this will fix my issue. If not does anyone have any suggestions.

  8. Thats interesting to know. There was a dog fight in my neighbors backyard about a month ago. My next door neighbbors dog got into the fence of the house behind me. Well they have a pitbull guess what the pit killed the dog that did not belong there. Ok I know there is a leash law. My neighbor with the dead dog was told I could give you a ticket for not having your dog on a leash. But they did not. Now the pit has pulled another dog through the fence and tried to kill it. It killed another dog and the idiots still have the dog. Ac did absolutlety nothing. I hate to say that my neighbor that lost there dog had it coming to them. But Why can't something be done about the dog that did the killing. All I have to say is let the pit pull one of my little dogs through the fence and it is on. I have to be very careful when I let my 4 babies out to go play because of this. I know all this to be true I helplessly (sp) watched this dog fight. I was there when AC came. It was horriable. So I don't know what to tell you.

  9. Does anyone know if there is night school classes offered to help students graduate on time, in Paulding Co.

If there is does anyone have a number or who do you contact about this. Any info. will help.

  10. You might want to call around and see what other places would charge. It sounds like it has blown a head gasket. Also if she ran the car extremely hot it could have cracked the block(motor).Even if you have the head gasket replaced you still need to find out why the car ran hot in the first place. If you don't it will do it again. It could be water pump, radiator, intake gasket, head gasket, or thermastat. My husband is a mechanic. I will ask him if he knows if that is about right or if that is alot.

  11. I have high blood pressure and take meds. daily. I have not been able to overcome it but i have lost pounds and my blood pressure dropped to normal. I did not stick with my diet. My doctor told me if I would continue to loose weight there was a chance I could come off the meds. So there is a possiablity that if you change your diet and exercise you could overcome this. I hope this helps.
