Our January Look Good, Feel Better session will take place on January 17th, from 10-12. For those not familiar, this is a free (thanks to the American Cancer Society) "spa session" for women dealing with the effects of chemo and/or radiation. Each woman receives a make-up bag with cosmetics from companies such as Chanel, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, etc. The session is run by our licensed cosmetologist, and she's awesome. She teaches skincare, and make-up application while dealing with treatment. We also talk about wigs/head coverings at the end of the session.
It's fun, and a chance for women to talk to each other about their experiences. I chose the 17th, because it's a school holiday for many - Martin Luther King day. We have some teachers who haven't been able to make others, so hopefully this day will give them an opportunity. Please call me (or pm me) if interested, 770-222-6678, and I'll give you instructions on signing up. Happy New Year!

I passed by yesterday going to Dixie Candles, and saw you had moved. I hope you get many new customers. You are now close to Pak-in-Pink and one of my favorite ladies.
to Charlies Angels... and welcome to the neighborhood Allon Salon!

I am late doing this and for that I'm sorry. I must give a huge THANK YOU to Anita at Pak Medical. I referred a family member to her that was in need of a stair lift and Anita was great to work with. She stayed on top of the process from the initial consultation all the way through one tiny minor repair that needed to be made after installation. Amazing service and of course a sweet, sweet lady who does a lot for our community.
The next time you see Anita, pat her on the back. She deserves it.
You're the best Mark! Friends like you - especially in this economy - are golden. Patrick really enjoys installing the stairlifts, and loves to see the smiles when the customers ride them for the first time. Your family was great to work with, and we are very grateful to you for the referral and the public compliment. I'll pass this on to my husband as well. Thank you so much!!

Some have asked, so I thought I'd post - Stairlifts are a handy addition for the home with staircases... especially as one ages and contemplates leaving their home primarily due to problems walking up or down the stairs. Stairlifts mount onto the staircase, nothing attaches to the wall, and come with many safety features for the security of the passenger.
In the state of Georgia, a permit is required for installation. And the installation must be carried out by a licensed installer. My husband Patrick holds the required license, and is experienced in all sorts of installation venues - from outdoor to indoor, both residential and commercial. We've installed in churches and homes, stairlifts that carry 300 - 500 lbs. Many parents are moving in with their children, and we are frequently called in to provide a solution for the stairs.
If you or someone you know has issues with their stairs, please pass this on - Thanks!

We will be celebrating Sue's life today - and her final wishes were to remind everyone to get their mammograms and do their self checks. If breast cancer is caught in the early stages, the cure rate is 90%. But the only way this early detection will happen, is if you make it happen. Breast cancer affects all of us - not just those who deal with it, but the family and friends of that person. In Sue's honor, this post is another reminder - get checked girls! Your life will depend on it...

Those are so pretty... I wish my mom would wear jewelry I would get her one.
I know I L-O-V-E M-I-N-E The pictures do not do them justice.
Thank you Lady Raider - a bigger picture of her "Memory" bracelet...

Honestly, it just depends on my cost of goods... the crystal bracelets start at $28. The name bracelets run a little more because of the cost of the sterling silver letters. But I work with all my customers to find the best option for the best price - I really like working with sterling and gold fill simply because it lasts. If you're making the "investment", you should get good quality. Silver plate is less expensive, but the silver will wear off. You've welcome to give me a jingle, or pm with your children's names and I can give you some ideas...
-
Is there anyway at all you can do one with 5 kids names on it? I love these, but could never just pick one child's name to put on it and dont want 5 diffrent ones. LOL can you work this girl?
I can work it baby... There are a few options... I can put more than one name on a bracelet, depending on how long the names are - I could put initials, or short nicknames... pm their names and we'll come up with something
I love these, you are awesome.
Can't wait to get my TROOP- YELLOW RIBBON bracelet.
HUGS
Will you be at Stars n Strikes tonight?

Barely two weeks left - please contact quickly if you're interested... The bracelets are made with Swarovski crystals in the month of birth, finished with sterling silver. I also use Swarovski pearls for the "pearl girls" - as far as size goes... I can make a standard size bracelet, and remake it afterwards if you'd like a complete surprise. Here are some pictures of bracelets for others - Please pm me, or call 770-222-6678
This one was for my MIL - she just wanted birthstones (May & Sept)

Medicare, with Aetna Rx coverage. It's for my Mom, she has an Rx for them.
I hope you have them!
Hey Madea... Medicare doesn't cover compression hose, but we do have some very good prices on them. And we also special order if needed, and carry several brands. We would need your Mom to come in so we can measure her, then we can give her some options. Christine and I are both certified fitters, so please come by - we're in Ste. 33 at Storage Xxtra - our sign isn't up yet. Thanks
Was by last weekend and left a note for you to call me about some ideas for Back in the Swing. Not sure if you've heard of them but Jazzercise has partnered with them to help post treatment patients get back into a 'normal' routine. Need some 'give away' items for a fundraiser that I'm doing for them on Mother's Day. I'll call you soon and maybe we can chat. Thanks for supporting the TaTa's.
Sure, give me a call and we'll get some give-aways together... I do remember the message, and I apologize - I've had my head wrapped up with the move -
-
My wife came by yesterday and the door was locked. We were afraid something had come up. Do you still carry items for CPAP? She needs a new nose mask or something like that.
We carry some items... have her call us and we'll see if we can provide - 770-222-6678
-
I'm sorry.
PS: Do you carry prescription support hose?
Yes, we do... what kind of insurance? We have compression hose - I think that's what you're looking for...
-
The economy and declining reimbursement rates got us... we closed our store next to We Care MD yesterday. We'd like to thank all of you pcommer customers for your patronage over these last two years. The durable medical supply business is under a great deal of pressure right now from Medicare and commercial insurers, which makes it difficult to keep the doors open. On another note, PAK in Pink has moved across the street to Storage Xxtra and will continue with custom bra fittings, prosthetics, hot flash nightwear, custom jewelry, Save the Tatas gear and all other lines we carry. We will also remain very involved with the American Cancer Society. Our phone numbers remain the same...
Thanks to all, and have a Happy Easter holiday!
Anita & Patrick
I should add Action PAK'D has joined PAK in Pink at Storage Xxtra...
