This post would be unbelieveable to some people. They would say no body would stand in a store and just give away $500.00 Dollars but I say you are a great loving person that cares about others or you couldn't have done what you did. Wish the world was full of people like you. I hope your family had a great Christmas anyway.

I don't think that it matters where you do it but it takes the same love in your heart for others to do it anywhere.

CA is at church today getting the food for the food ministry. Be gone most of the day.

She showed love for people that she may never meet. I believe that the people that recieved the food will never forget the time that they were in need and someone reached out a helping hand to them.

I would have loved to have been there and saw her face when she found out that you had payed for her food. Bet she felt lower than a snakes belly.

Same way in a lot of little towns in tennessee the speed limit will drop from 65 to 40 on a fourlane hwy out in the country with nothing but cows. You will have to put the brakes on to slow down that fast. I think it is speed traps just to catch people from out of state. I try to drive about 65 on a fourlane and about 55 on a two lane road. Some on here think that 55 is to slow but for older people it is about right because our reflexes get slower as we get older.

I agree . I got caught in Powder springs doing 62 in a 45 zone but the officer let me go with a warning. I like your avatar with the lone ranger.I used to listen to him on the radio when I was a boy. They would say at the end [ Who was that mask man] and someone would say that was the lone ranger. Then they would say Hi-ho silver away. I miss the good old days.

I saw on the news yesterday where now if you are caught speeding over 80 on a fourlane or over 70 on a two lane that your fine will be $200.00. What do you think about this? Is this good or bad. I say good if it will save one persons life. If you are a [super speeder] will this cause you to slow down?

MissSophie you are so right there is nothing like that good warm feeling down in your heart. Just seems like the more that you give the more you get back. I think that is what jesus means when he talks about giving and not sending your money to some TV preacher.

When I was in the Army I had a man try to sell me his shoes right off of his feet. I told him I could only wear Army shoes . I took him into a restaurant and payed for his food so he wouldn't buy alcohol . Don't want to think of anyone going hungry.

Tranquility I think you and all of the other people that have posted that they have helped others are the Angels that the Bible speaks about that we may entertain unaware. And I like the little man at Krogers also. That's what it is all about.[JOY].

Try it I think you will like it. The world is full of good people you just never hear about them.

It's the little things like you said helping the lady with groceries and taking her cart back that make's my day better. My wife had a stroke five years ago and can hardly walk. So it is very hard for her to walk a long way. If we can't find a handicap parking place then I have to drive to the front door and let her out and go find a parking place and walk back and try to get her a driving cart. So when we get groceries and she drives the cart to the car we have two carts to put up. One in the cart rack and the driving one I drive back to the store. So when someones helps with the carts it r

I learned while in the Army that some people will scam you with sad stories just to get money to get Drunk . So I started just taking them into a resturant and telling them to sit down and paying for their food and not giving money. But that has not stopped me from giving. I have been taken my the people that hold the signs [ I will work for food.] But I had rather lose five or ten dollars than to go home and lie awake wondering if they were really hungry. I always think what if it was one of my kids and people turned them away. You can never out give God.

What a great thing that you did. I bet you went to bed with a big smile on your face knowing that you helped someone in need . I bet she went to bed with a big smile also knowing that there are still people like you that really care.

We have had this done for us by people that we knew but never by anyone that we don't know. That my friend is giving from the heart . You are not expecting anything in return . Not even a thank you. What a great world this would be if everyone was this way.

I read on the Internet news about a restaurant somewhere up north this week where a couple ate their meal and when finished they payed for their meal and payed the check for the table next to them. The table next to them then payed for the table next to them and it went on for five hours. What was so great none of the people knew each other. The waitress said that it brought tears to her eyes said that she had never saw that happen in all of her years as a waitress. My question is have you ever payed for someone else's food that you didn't know. What a great thing to do anytime of year but
