Actually Bwitchy, I enjoy women anyway I can get them
This is definitely not a me against woman thing ... it is a woman against men in general thing (as the wife was able to deposit without me in tow at her bank.) That is a double standard and I can't imagine properly endorsed checks being refused for deposit.
And again, the policy reeks of discrimination (as well as they obviously don't know me or my wife and our relationship on such matters ... and as if it were any of their business as well.)

Pubby,
What a dilemma you have!
In issue #1, the car is registered in your name, but is being driven by your wife. The insurance company of the other driver wants to send the check to your wife. There is a simple solution here. You should sue your wife. That would solve any problems of ownership of the accident reimbursement proceeds.
In issue #2, you should just endorse the check and mail it in. Neither of you have to appear before the teller, and the bank will be more than glad to deposit the funds in your joint account.
There you go. Problem solved.

we use 3 different Bank, and I must say 1 of the 3 are a pain in the Butt! The small bank we use he or I can cash a check in either name. No Questions at all.

Wow, that's why you read the fine print. You see this on the TV all the time.
You would think people would know you can't buy a $300.00 purse for a fraction of the price. Knock offs are a big business but not big enough to go to jail over
