My daughter is 9 (will be 10 next month) and definitely needed braces. She had two horrible cross bites and major crowding that was effecting the growth of her jaw bone. Be sure you get several different opinions. We went to three different orthodontists and got three different opinions. I was very impressed with a particular ortho in Powder Springs. He was very knowledgeable and was the least expensive. I paid about $ 600.00 down then it will be $ 200.00 a month for 18 months.

 

Wednesday they put on her top set of braces, she will go back next month and get the bottom ones on. This set will be the only set she will need to wear. She will be completely done with treatment before middle school.
