We went to church this morning, to the park to feed the ducks and let the kids play, and then back home for dinner and relaxing. Oh and to get things ready to go back to school tomorrow. It was a great day, and a relaxing spring break. We are ready to get back to school and get the rest of the year over with so we can enjoy the summer.

I had a person come in saying I did not put a soap in their bag and I thought I did. I apologized for their inconvenience, gave them the missing soap and another to make up for the problem. I did not know if they misplaced it or I did during the transaction but it was worth it for me to make it right. They now are a regular that spends at least $30 every couple weeks on bath products and often use us for gift needs. In this economy I want every person to feel important, needed and know that their complaints will be satisfied at my expense and with a SMILE/THANKS FOR THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE IT RIGHT. The worse customer is the one that does not tell you but instead just never returns.
Ooooo I didn't know you had relocated there!! I'll be visiting!

The Weather CHannel is saying we'll get 2-4 inches!! I guess at this moment nobody really know how much we'll get and they're just guesstimating. Personally I'd love the 2-4 inches! A Snow Day tomorrow would be awesome!

The Weather Channel is saying 2-4 inches! I guess no one really knows how much we'll get and at this point they're just guessing. I'd love to see the 2-4! SNOW DAY!

Thank You so much for taking care of this baby. God put you in the right place at the right time. Makes me so sad someone would do something like that to that poor puppy
Dr. Meeker - You are a blessing to this community for taking care of this puppy and saving his life!! We adore you!! (and so do our pets )

My friend did this and it helped. They were able to get the interet rates lowered and set up a fixed payment. It was tough but they payed it off.
this is what we are doing too, and it is working great for us. Big commitment and definatly not easy, but what a wonderful feeling at the end of the year when we see how much we have payed off.

Anyone know if the Osmond boy made it?

How long is it lasting? Dd has had a high fever and has been achey and miserable since Thursday. Now she is getting the congestion along with it. Looks like another day home on Monday, cause I don't see her being all the way better by then. How long is this nasty bug lasting?? BTW, she was to the Dr yesterday and Dr said it's not strep so most likely viral

I made Ranch Turkey Burgers tonight and they were really good. One envelope of ranch dressing mix and shredded cheese mixed into the turkey. I think next time I will put another envelope of ranch in, but overall they were very good!

I was always told that the baby's heartbeat while in utero was a good indicator. Slow heartbeat (130's) was a boy. Higher heartbeat (150-160) was a girl. For all 4 of my children this was accurate.

We had breakfast tonight for dinner - pancakes, bacon and a fresh pot of coffee. It was nice for a change and the kids always enjoy it too!

If you don't want to see a stylist I would recommend you at least go to Sally's. you will have a better selection of color. If you want something that has a burgundy tone to it you'll need to go for something with violet base. but burgundy's gonna have a red tone to it as well..so you are not going to be able to avoid it completely. Also, when it starts to fade it will inevitably fade to a reddish hue. But you also need to take into consideration what your base color is. If you are going from a blonde to this dark color you may need a filler....If you already have dark hair it will take better. Personally, as a licensed stylist...I recommend you consult a stylist 1st...but at least if you go to Sally's rather than Wal-Mart or a drug store you may be able to get someone that is licensed that may be able to guide you better.
I was going to suggest going to Sally's too. The color is better quality and costs about the same as the boxed kits at the grocery store. The girls there are always very helpful. I usually go in with questions and they always point me in the right direction as far as the products I need!

I wish we could adopt him, but we already have 3 and dh has told me repeatedly 'no more cats'. He is really cute though.

Michael's has all of their Christmas Crafts at 50% off. I got some beaded ornament kits at 2.50 each, but they also had wooden pieces you could paint, glitter, and a bunch of other fun things to keep the kiddos busy.

I love the homemade goodies I recieve. Although, I must also admit, the Victoria's Secret goodies today were nice too.

I am looking for the signs that you can stick in your yard that say "Happy Birthday Jesus"?
Where do they sell these?
Try West Ridge Church. That's where we got ours several years ago.

Thanks for posting the pics of the marching bands. They all looked great!

Does it start out with a bad headache? DD has had a headache for the second day now, and this evening has been in the bathroom with diarhhea (sp?). Hoping not, but wondering if it will be a long night.

Playdough ornaments are always fun and easy too. Have them cut out the dough with Christmas cookie cutters, dry them in the oven and let them paint afterwards.
You can also make ornaments with popsicle sticks. Let the girls arrange them into star patterns, glue together and then paint. The type of sticks that that have the notched edges for building make especially pretty snowflakes. We always paint them or just add glitter and they always turn out so pretty.

I have always used Aquaphor when the excema starts flaring up on my dd's. This was on the advice of our pediatrician.

I forgot they were opening today. We'll have to check them out.
