I talked to Dr. Bowen this morning. He said boxers are notorious for chewing things like sticks, plastic, etc.....
He said the blood work showed high white cells he gave him a shot for vomiting and he's still on fluids. We get an antibiotic sent home. He said he's not going to do the xray b/c he hasn't vomited since we brought him in (got figure) he said we can pick him up around 4:00. So who knows. He said his color is coming back nicely. Thank god his is going to bed fine. My 5 year old was about to drive us nuts

We had a Boxer, Kate, that is missed. She passed away several years ago. How old is Rambo?

he has not ate in 2 days? He threw up 3 times in the past 2 days?
Vomiting in dogs can be a symptom of many disorders. Some are serious (like kidney disease). Does he have a fever or other symptoms? Is he drinking water? A visit to a veterinarian would determine if it is problem that needs treatment. Please keep us posted about his condition.

Buddy just passed away. I'm not sure why. He was actually up and walking
around on his good leg today. He had been eating and drinking. My daughter
came up for dinner and he was alive and when she went back down stairs
he was gone. He was my sons dog. I really thought he was going to be
okay. I guess his little heart just couldn't handle it. I wish it didn't have to
happen on Christmas Eve. Kind of puts a damper on the night.
Rest in peace Buddy you were a great companion and you will be missed.

It's not clear who the author is of the piece entitled, "The Rainbow Bridge." Some list it as author unknown. It is clear that it has brought comfort to many pet lovers during times of loss. I hope you will find some comfort, too.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

People. I'm new to Paulding County. I'm around people that eat meat at various functions, etc., but I'd like to know some people locally that at least eat some meatless meals.

Whatever turns your crank, just don't tell me I'm wrong for wanting to chow down on something like this on a regular basis.
Please everyone, read my original post. In it I posted that the decision I made to not eat meat was personal one that I made after praying about. I acknowledged that most people do eat meat and that I used to eat meat. too.

the majority of fish in this country is farm raised...and it's not the way food is raised but how it's slautered and brought to market..
we all eat LIVING things..
jsut some of them make noises we can hear...

Hi everyone,
Sixteen years ago I read about factory farming and was saddened at the conditions some of the animals were raised in. After praying about it I decided to eat a vegetarian diet. After a couple of years I started back eating fish, but I eat no beef, pork, or poultry. I know that most people eat meat and when I was growing up I ate hamburgers for breakfast. I was just wondering if there's anyone here who eats any meatless meals?
