I am so sorry for your loss. As you know I lost my father in law and my dad within 4 days of one another and it is still tough. We will continue to remember your family in our prayers!

PLEASE pray for the Lochamy family-Allen, Michelle, Colin, and Ethan. Colin & Ethan are 17 month old twins and both are VERY sick. Colin was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) on 9/18/2010 and has been going thru treatment for it. He was admitted to SR last night to be hydrated and ready for his new treatment today-however his port wasn't working properly so all of the fluid from the IV went to his chest. They are giving him 5 shots to help absorb so please pray that this takes the fluid from his chest and does not cause any damage. Also pray that he will be able to receive treatment for the ca

I would like to know if anyone else has had this happen....my mom just called me and she lives in New Hope and said that a man in a white truck with red letters stopped by her house and wanted to sell her a load of gravel. He wanted $250 and he would bring equipment and spread it and he didn't want any money until it was all done. She told him she didn't have any money and he said well what would you pay--so she told him $150 but she didn't have cash so he told her a check was fine. This does not sound very legit to me -- just wondering if anyone else has had this kind of encounter...IF he com

physically they are both very sore....mentally they are going thru the motions right now. PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM--it is very hard on them right now and they are still in shock like the rest of us--the next few days will be some of the hardest for them I am sure and they will need all of the love, prayers, and support they can get...they do not need the constant questions and rumors--this is truly a tragedy and they have lost a very dear friend. The details do not matter at all now--the fact is Zach is gone from them for now --but they also know they will be with again when God calls them just as

Tanner Fields was definitely driving the jeep that Zach was in for sure...my son spent the biggest part of the day with Tanner Fields and Bethany yesterday

Thank you---I am still very angry and hurt over the whole situation. Please share our story with anyone that you come in contact with that is considering nursing home care. I do not want anyone to have to go thru what we did and I will do everything that I can to make sure everyone is aware of what happened to my dad just as I promised him that I would.

Please do all the research and visiting (unannounced and at "off-times") that you can. I agree with checking the ratings but please don't be fooled by that either. Paulding has a good rating and that was pointed out to us in the beginning. My dad passed away 6 months ago while in the Braly Center at Paulding. He had been bedridden for about a year and somehow ended up with a broken hip. He told us that someone fell on him but it was an accident-that they were trying to help him and slipped--but all of the caregivers denied it. Someone from my family visited him EVERY day and they still managed

This is absolutely crazy....so now I guess we need to stop encouraging our children to take the honors/AP classes and strive to be honor students because they are no different than anyone else. Give me a break--as soon the students find out about this and drop down to regular classes and Paulding County loses recognition for honors/AP students then I bet it will all come right back, of course the problem for me with that is that my son graduates next year and he will be an AP/honor graduate that will obviously not be recognized. As far as it hurting the other kids feelings -well guess what? th

I am so sorry to hear this. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. I can not imagine losing a child. I lost my father in law Feb13th and my dad Feb 17th and that was horrible but I can not imagine how this family feels losing a child. I pray that God will strengthen them in every way and put the people that love them in the right places at the right time. That is what has gotten us through the past week with our loses. God is good and he is faithful. He will provide for this family just as he has for ours. -

Thanks to everyone who said a prayer for us. This has definitely been the hardest week of my life-losing my father in law on Saturday 2/13-burying him on 2/16 and losing my dad on 2/17. I have the very best family in the world and there is no way I could have made it other wise. We are so blessed and even though this all still doesn't seem possible I know they are both in a much better place than we are and I know that I have my family and friends to see us through. It is amazing at how God puts the people you need in the exact places that you need them. We were all able to spend time with dad -
Thanks for your prayers but I need to ask for more of them

She is OK..she is really torn. I just talked to her and she said "now Stephanie he might pull through this" and I said moma please don't get your hopes up..if that is God's will then he might but medically he can not...and she said "well I just don't think he can leave me"...so needless to say I sit here crying as I type. Please pray for us all. I am going to get ready now so I can go sit with them until time to go to the funeral home this afternoon. Please just say extra prayers for us all and I know God will provide exactly what we need when we need it. Thanks for checking on moma and I will
