im happier now then i have ever been ... n i face a event soon that could change everything in my life for the worse .. or maybe for the better .. i dont know yet n wont know till its over ... but i am positive that either way i will make it .. ... i know that no matter what its just gonna be ok ... i have good friends i lean on now ... i have a wonderful partner which i have had for 22 years ... but the big difference is in me ... becuz i finally realized i was lookin for something outside myself to make me happy .. when it was always inside ... n stayin positive is the mian thing i have changed over last few years ... n no i aint always happy ... but ia m very content in my life ... i no longer look for outside things to make me happy or content ... i know i am where i am supposed to be ... n doing what is right for me n mine ...
btw Lowrider .. i appreciate ya posting this ... i hope many will read it n take it to heart ... i hate to see ppl so miserable ... but you can only help those who want to help thems3elves ...

I know its terrible!!
I just had to drive out to my husband with a gas can. We found a station that had one of their pumps running. So he should be good to go for the rest of the week. The guy at Exxon said that everything should be back to normal by Wednesday or Thursday.

You and your husband seem to love movies just as much as my husband and I do.
We went and saw it last night around 7. But we went to AMC on Barrett Pkwy. We both enjoyed it.

That is 100% true. He can say or feel anyway he pleases. However, as a woman that is very proud of her country and is the daughter and grandaughter of servicemen, this is one more reason I REFUSE to buy ANY NBA merchandise, which is not a popular stand with my teen boys, but I refuse to help support thugs.

But I've said it before and I'll say it again.....this is the land of the free. He is free to participate in the ritual of singing the anthem and saluting the flag, but he's also free not to.

Thats not what she said.
They were talking about the constitution and McCain was saying that it should be strictly interpreted the way the founding father's intended it to be. Whoopi was basically saying that should she worry about being returned to slavery because that was part of the constitution the way the founding father intended it. Her point was that sometimes its necessary to change things.
That was not a slam against the entire republican party. Even McCain said it was an "excellent point."

The old man and I are having a date this weekend. We both want to see that movie. (I absolutely LOVE scary movies) But we're torn between Mirrors, Righteous Kill and The Family that Preys.
Lakeview Terrace also looks good, but thats not until next weekend.
