  1. I don't smoke and never have. Well actually I smoked plenty as a kid if you count secondhand smoke. Nothing worse than mom smoking in the car with the windows rolled up during winter. (cough cough) So even though I've never put a cigarette to my lips I bet my little lungs were black as coal. I hated the smell of it then and I can't stand it now. If people are smoking outside of a building that I'm entering I hold my breath as I walk by. I don't dislike smokers though. I just politely excuse myself when they fire up!

    :D

  2. Do any of you find that your children are simply not interested in the "older" cartoons? I LOVED watching Charlie Brown as a kid. I tried to show one to my son last year and he just looked at me like I was nuts! My kids would much rather watch cartoon network Nick

  3. Here's my 10 cents.....

    1) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, liposuction and air conditioning.

    2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.

    3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

    4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

    5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

    6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.

    7) Obviously, gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

    8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.

    9) Children can never succeed without both a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

    10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life.

  4. I have been put through a lot of test lately, and so far I am very pleased with this OBGYN:

PCO/PCOS stands for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I'm not exactly sure why it happens to some women but the symptoms are as follows.

-infrequent menstrual periods, no menstrual periods, and/or irregular bleeding

-infertility or inability to get pregnant because of not ovulating

-increased growth of hair on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs, or toes

    -acne, oily skin, or dandruff

    -pelvic pain

-weight gain or obesity, usually carrying extra weight around the waist

    -type 2 diabetes

    -high cholesterol

    -high blood pressure

    -male-pattern baldness or thinning hair

-patches of thickened and dark brown or black skin on the neck, arms, breasts, or thighs

-skin tags, or tiny excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area

-sleep apnea?excessive snoring and breathing stops at times while asleep

  5. Thank you everyone for replying so fast!

    To AEMOM

How are they treating you? Is it just provera or are they actually giving you medication that tackles some of the other issues that come along with PCO like Metformin?

    To Erin,

I found a website for the office you suggested but I didn't find the specific doctor listed. I will look into both of them.

Thanks again ladies......keep the suggestions coming!

    :o)

  6.

Hello, I was wondering if any of the ladies on here also suffer from PCO/PCOS??? If so, can you recommend an OBGYN in the area that is not afraid to treat it? I shouldn't say afraid, but one who is willing to treat it rather than ignore it? I had the best doctors back in California through Kaiser, but I'm having a hard time finding one here thats willing to help me with it.

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated!

I've only been to Ruby Tuesday's twice and both times the entire place was emply and we still waited nearly an hour for our food. I didn't think the food was that great either. If I have to wait that long, its gotta be good! :p
