  1. Nope, He was up talking to someone on his computer. They heard it too!!

Since he was up, did he have an idea of which direction the sound came from? Did it sound like it was off in the distance, although loud, or something AT the house?

Maybe you can talk to some neighbors today and get an idea.

Hope you're able to find out what it was.

  2. Congratulations on your weight loss boxerdoglover (You'll always be "Storylady" to me LOL)

I have a neighbor who had the same procedure about a year ago and she is very pleased with her results as well.

Wish I had some clothes for you :( I'll keep my eyes out for ya though!

Oh BTW, I talked to MrsApple the other day :) Hey back to ya! :D

  3. I heard several helicopters sounded like they were trying to land somewhere and heard sirens going down ridge road. anyone know if something happened?

I live near the hwy 92 end of Ridge road.

I saw a rescue unit go down but it turned around at the Laird road area and went back. Still had sirens going however. I heard the siren for quite a while, so I know it went beyond Kroger.

I never heard the helicopters, so it must have been more towards the 61 end of Ridge.

  4. Chances are, if you heard it, this kids parent heard it. So, I wouldn't talk to the parent. Never can tell, the parent may have dealt with him after the game, (if it had been my kid, I would have drug him off the field by his ear!!), but then again, Teatime is right. This is probably something he hears from his parents all the time. I would go to the coach though.

  5. A sweet grandmother telephoned St.Joseph's Hospital.

She timidly asked, 'Is it possible to speak to someone who can tell me

    how a patient is doing?'

The operator said, 'I'll be glad to help, dear. What's the name and room

    number?'

The grandmother in her weak, tremulous voice said, 'Norma Findlay, Room

    302.'

The operator replied, 'Let me place you on hold while I check with her

    nurse.'

After a few minutes the operator returned to the phone and said, 'Good

news. Her nurse has told me that Norma is doing very well. Her blood

    pressure

is fine. Her blood work just came back as normal and her Physician, Dr.

    Cohen,

has scheduled her to be discharged Tuesday.'

The grandmother said, 'Thank you. That's wonderful! I was so worried!

God bless you for the good news.'

The operator replied, 'You're more tha n welcome. Is Norma your daughter?'

The Grandmother said, 'No, I'm Norma Findlay in 302, No one tells me crap!
