Isn't it, though? I'll have to put some thought into how to display it, because I'd like to be able to show both sides of the piece.
You know, though -- It ocurred to me that some people on here may not know who Mickey Rooney is!

I had something similar like this happen except the sales person told me that if I allowed them to demonstrate
their cleaning product they would give me a FREE can of air freshener. I asked how much time will this take?
10 to 15 minutes was their answer and I proceeded to tell them I was not interested. Never did they put a FREE
can of air freshener in my hand or else I would have kept it!
LOL
My friend was told the same thing. She allowed them to come in. They were there well over 2 hours!!!!!

I will agree with one thing you said. The kids running out into the street for candy!! My heart went into my throat soooo many times!!
Why do parents let their kids do this??
Many of the people marching in the parade made an effort to throw the candy as close to the curb as they possible. For those who did, thank you!!
Other than this, I thought the parade went great.

I think we need to point out things to our 17 yr old reader and others.
HE is a TEACHER! I don't give a crap if it's her teacher or not...HE is a teacher!
MOST department store clerks - waitress- movie clerk - whoever - don't spend that much time
with your precious snowflakes!! Don't even try to compare it!! They don't see your kids day in and
day out like a teacher does.
HE LIED ALONG WITH HER!!!!!! She gave a fake name....and his dumba$$ went along with it!
I do believe in innocent until proven guilty..... but stupid is stupid....and you can't fix stupid.
The cops <more than one here> had to have seen them doing something! OR they saw his snake outta the cage...something.... If they was just sitting there talking.... nothing would have happened...maybe a call to her
parents...something...but sexual charges wouldn't have been filed!!!
I can promise you...as a 17 yr old....she will regret this when she is 30! I know I sure do... I could tell a story about
a police officer.... but my mom handled that!
So is she to blame...yep....but come on...He is an ADULT... who is married... How would he feel if his wife would have
done it to him?? Put the shoes on the other feet before you start to do something that will effect others!!!

Soooo, regardless whether the officers witnessed anything, this for me was the deciding factor that SOMETHING MORE than teacher student conference was going on.

we just got back from Nick's viewing not to long ago,and it was so sad to see his family grieving so badly for him
and i felt so bad for his girlfriend,she could not stop crying
Nick didn't even look like himself,but he did look peaceful,and they had a slideshow of him in the next room,& it was really nice
my prayers go out to all his family and all of his friends

As many of you my remember my posting that I had my whole family here last weekend for the first time in 3 years. It was wonderful! Well, my son, daughter in law, and grandson left Monday morning to go back to Savannah. My son had to sign back in at the post/base yesterday. He called this morning and is being deployed to Iraq for his 2nd tour today.
I am so thankful for our families time together but I will miss him with all my heart and worry about him 24/7. Please keep my son, daughter-in-law and grandson in your prayers as my son won't be back for a year! Now I'm gonna go and cry for awhile again.You know he has my prayers as do you
Please give him my best!!!

The last time a barrel of oil was this price gas cost less than $3.50/gal. Does it not p*$$ anyone else off that the big oil companies increased prices hourly as oil went up...but they do not feel the need to decrease it the same way.
It also irks me that so many companies allegedly increased prices and cut package sizes immediately because of increased transportation costs. Has anyone seen any price drops on these products?
..... it is time for the Feds to step in and mandate a price rollback from these gougers. I do not care about 'the investors'. Investing is a risk by definition. Some investments pay-off, some do not, but don't gouge me to pay the investors and CEOs more.
I have wondered the same thing.
