    It starts to rain here and they HAVE to run outside put their faces to the heavens and taste the rain. Then they have to play and dance and race around the yard as if they have never seen rain or known anything as enjoyable as being in it. They spent the entire rain storm outside - making up games, sending ships (leaves) down the road as the water rushed by, and just getting wet. It was fun just watching them enjoy the simple pleasures of being a kid. Then of course the rain stopped and it's like someone said - time to go back inside, fun's over.

     

    Thank God for the Rain! -_-

    Thanks, I have a reservation at the Coral Beach Resort. Found it just by looking on the internet, I am hoping it is nice. Can you ask you mom if she knows anything about that one.

    one of my coworkers was commenting today that Axe does NOT replace a shower!

     

    I have a couple of my students who say their parent won't buy them deo because they "aren't old enough" and I'm like WTF? you're old enough to stink! (of course I don't SAY that...but I want to!)

     

    My youngest one is in the second grade and he wears it everyday!!

    I don't really even have to remind him, (but I do) and he lets me know

    when he needs more.

    I live close to the 92 and dallas highway intersection. Today at about 6:25 p.m. there was an massive, horrible explosion that felt like was going to tear down my house. I never heard anything, nor felt anything like that. The soundwaves thundered deep within my body, was the oddest feeling that I have ever had. It was quite horrifying to because I have never felt power like that, I was waiting for the aftermath and for my house to be blasted away, seriously that was crazy. All my neighbors felt it too, one went for a drive to see if anything had happened. We believe it was dynamite, it had to have been because that was nuts. A person up the road said they were dynamiting close to our house a year ago but it sounded like nothing compared to what we heard today. Its close to the walmart on dallas highway

    We are doing alittle St. Patrick's day "meeting" at work and I was wondering if you had any suggestions on what to fix. I want to bring something GREEN and something that isn't too much work to make. Any suggestions?

    can anyone recommend a place to take it? hubby is challenged when it comes to foreign cars?

     

    i was going to take it to b-dubs hubby but he doesn't have the tools, so anything to save me some money would be EXCELLENT!!!

    My favorite books are Nicholas Sparks books and I have read them all. I just finished up "Dear John" and loved it. I need another good book, does anyone have any recommendations for something that may be similar to the Nicholas Sparks books that I love so dearly?

    My youngest son will be 3 in 2 weeks. He is still not even close to being potty trained. We have dedicated this weekend to be hard core. No more diapers. I am pulling my hair out! He will pee in the potty sporadically, but he keeps begging for underwear so he can poop in them. My oldest was hard to train too, but I had forgotten how frustrating this can be.

     

    Ok, now that I have that off my chest I feel better.

    This is how I got my son (who is now 7) to go to

    the potty, first is he tall enough to stand?

    If so tell him to go make "BUBBLES" when he goes

    pee.

    And to go poop tell him to make "TURTLES".

    It sounds funny but hey it worked for us!
